- This video is about the New York Comic Con in October 2023. The event took place at the Javits Center in New York City. The show had multiple floors and events taking place simultaneously. In this video, I focus on COMIC BOOKS. I visit various booths and look at wall books, raw books, and slabs. I also look at plenty of Grails.

Loved the local commentary. Hey, when did comic books switch from colored pen & ink to painted covers? 2000’s? Are any comics hand drawn anymore?
The colorists have been using computers for a while, maybe 90s -- first "Spawn". Is that what you mean?
@@RockPaperXcissorsjust wondering. I stopped reading them back in the day and then I noticed the covers were really weird, painted not comic book looking at all. The interior panel’s really generic flat looking etc.
