I am always careful with tech death, I love alot of it but sometimes it's too flashy. This strikes a perfect balance between technicality and brutality.
They aren't trying to be HIDEOUS DIVINITY They are trying to be FIRST FRAGMENT Personally, I like First Fragment a bit better. Hideous Divinity might be more Brutal, but the beauty in FFs composition really hits me.
a friend and i were damn near kings in new york when there was a great resurgence of extreme metal starting there and then worldwide in 2006. bb kings, north 6 etc. even made bouncers especially at bbking blues venue feel comfortable and safe just by our prescence alone over short time. we were the masters of randomness = same as when chuck schuldiner wore flip flops on stage and performed a long time ago. loved and envied, brother.
+Transmortify huge fan of their first. love their music but in this case , vocal range is sub par. its just an opinion. this vocal range is more for brutal death metal.

You should strike a better balance by replacing that consuming impulse dp with a better osdm album in altars of madness from 89 ;)
