Pastor, I’ve been trying to prepare not only myself, but my children and grandchildren, friends and family, for when ‘the grid goes down’ and whatever all of that entails. The one scripture the grands have memorized is ‘God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, and of power, and of a sound mind.! We are going to need to access all three of those attributes whenever whatever is going to happen, happens. We must be ‘putting on the Mind of Christ’ at this present time in order to not only deal with our own spoiled ways being jerked away from us from technology to food to maybe electricity and plumbing, but even more so the other spoiled adults and children who will be crying and depressed and just lost. I don’t know- but in order to help those falling apart around us. We better have the mind of Christ already within us - because the fruit of The Spirit, specifically, Patience, Kindness, long suffering, etc., are going to be the absolutely necessary order of the day.
