I gotta say dude, you are the most enjoyable tutorial teacher I've come across. Not only is everything you explain super-useful and thorough, but you've got the most chill, welcoming, and just genuinely friendly wanting-to-help vibe. It shows that you genuinely enjoy teaching as much as creating. This whole series is great! Inspired me right back into using Tilt-Brush on the daily. Don't know why I ever stopped! Thanks a bunch man.
Thank you so much! I honestly do have a lot of fun doing this, and am glad it shows through. This has been a great experience, and I'm glad its helpful and inspirational. I'm now working on What to Teach Next! Any requests?
This is insane. It's so easy. I'm a 3D animator, and i wish we had tools this easy to work with. I can't wait for VR to be used in 3D production softwares.
Your videos are great for learning tilt brush. Thank you very much for doing this great work for free. In Case you need some Background music for your Videos feel free to contact me. Cheers
Thanks a ton for these fantastic tutorials! I have a question. Does the camera record in real time? Because I would like to build a little world, let the camera ride through it, and then use audioreactive brushes to make some lines pulse along with an audio track. Would that work if I correctly time the audio start with the start of the camera path recording? Thanks man!
Yes, the recording is real-time. You can set the speed of the camera's motion in the Camera Path, but the animations will all play at normal speed. Yes, this does mean you can use music with the audio brushes, and the recording will be synchronized. Have fun, and thanks for watching!
Hey Shameless! I know now how the camera works so thank you, but....The default speed is way to fast when I play it, does this has to do with the size of my painting?
If you are painting small, the yes the camera path will seem fast. You should still be able to control its speed and slow it down. Have fun with Tilt Brush!
Are you using a Quest? Right now, the Camera Path Tool is only on the PC version, sorry! We hope they will add it to the Quest soon. If you can Link to a PC, you can save your sketch to Poly, then load it in on the PC to make the Camera Paths. Thanks for watching!
Which version of Tilt Brush are you using? If you use a Quest, you may need to Link to a PC for all the Camera features. You can also check if Open Brush (free!) has it now.
it is only for the PC version. I have both PC (steam) and quest 2 versions and find the camera and several features on tilt brush are not the same. I think it is because the CPU&GPU power on quest 2 is not sufficient for that.
@@bingusboop3829 No problem. If for relatively serious usage, I`d recommend pc version and use either remotely via virtual desktop or through oculus link with cable. The on-device version will show a warning when loading complex models or you painted too much in addition to the loss of features such as camera path.

If you can Link to a PC, then you can access paths. TiltBrush on the stand-alone Quest does not have Camera Path, sorry.
Does this work on oculus quest?
