These are my people! Thank you Norma Jean for helping me purge my anger, anxiety and depression from a teen to a now 41 year old adult; nothing hits harder than BLMKTC!
This video of Memphis Will be laid to waste might be the most perfect example of what metal music is the way a crowd reacts to this song I really only see it happened one other time and that is when counterparts plays the disconnect during their shows something about those two songs, and those two bands playing those songs it’s just the living breathing representation of everything that is felt by metal lovers, this performance is historical people will never forget this
They have 3 guitarists? I used to be a huge fan of this band and their music was a huge part of my life in highschool.. but I dont recognize anyone in the band lol. I was a fan of the 02-06 era. Blessed the Martyr and O'God the Aftermath were awesome albums.
I know right, they had a fuck load of line up changes but this probably is as close to the OG Norma Jean we know and love playing together for a hot minute. Would be rad to have the OG lineup play like a 30th Anniversary of Bless the Matyr to be honest.
I wonder what it is like after all these years of Cory letting Josh do this song. Like a step dad watching the biological father show up every year and the kids go wild.
I didn't even catch this set because I can't stand any norma jean after this album and there was a conflict in times, but my god Josh Scogin is so fucking good.
Fue algo hermoso!!! Love this
Me watching this at 40, still awesome but my body hurts.. all of it

Post hardcore*
Josh's outfit is a pretty hilarious and adorable counterpoint to the tough-guy metal look of his old band
Thanks for posting! I could barely see what was happening due to the crowd swarm! Much better angle here!
Timeless. Thanks.
Dope! Scottie Henry and Chris Day were up there also!

I figure Cory performs 100s of songs live in any given year. Josh shows up to take the reigns on a song every now and again? Why the hell not.
this is awesome but when josh did it with mewithoutyou on their final tour it just felt more special
