A good tattoo doesnt have to be "artistic", it doesnt have to be exact, nor brilliant, or colorful. It only has to be what it means to you. Ex. A friend has firemans crest with axe and helmet and a wall of flame. It looks like a child drew it because he drew it when he was a child at the time of his grandfather's (a fireman) passing. Great and worst in ink is subjective.

Bad tattoos are normally the result of a good night and most of the time are covereds peoples most favorites. Mine is reallyyyy fucked up giraffe on my inner forearm but I got it from a dude I was super interested in at the time and came from a really fun, drunk night that ill probably always remember. Not all tattoos 'mean' something but sometimes they have cool stories.

I'm an artist and I love art and I appreciate good artwork and the simple fact is most people get tattoos not because they mean something but because it looks fucking cool and I think a lot of people are afraid to admit that so they try to give it importance by attributing some kind of story to it. When really theyre reason is: "tattoos are dope everyone thinks theyre dope, put that shit all over me!" Lol once I finally decided my tattoos don't have to mean anything and I simply realized how much I appreciate art and the artists that do them it made it so much easier to take the plunge and just remind myself that it doesn't have to mean anything if I dont want it to. what it means is that I get to wear amazing artwork by an artist that I personally look up to for the rest of my life and that makes me happy.

A good tattoo doesnt have to be "artistic", it doesnt have to be exact, nor brilliant, or colorful. It only has to be what it means to you.
Ex. A friend has firemans crest with axe and helmet and a wall of flame. It looks like a child drew it because he drew it when he was a child at the time of his grandfather's (a fireman) passing. Great and worst in ink is subjective.

Bad tattoos are normally the result of a good night and most of the time are covereds peoples most favorites. Mine is reallyyyy fucked up giraffe on my inner forearm but I got it from a dude I was super interested in at the time and came from a really fun, drunk night that ill probably always remember. Not all tattoos 'mean' something but sometimes they have cool stories.
I totally understand the "it's my worst tattoo and I love it" cause my favorite tattoo it's one I did on myself with a friends machine. I dont know how to tattoo so it looks hideous but the experience was amazing and when I look at it brings me back.
