Running an FP3 on my RG special, works great. ran a tank of fuel and applied the settings. radius pipes are pretty nasty man. never thought of 2x2 radius . making me spend more money now Bro!!!!!

As of right now im impressed with the power gain but im hopeing it will run out a little smoother after some autotunes. im gunna add a new video this weekend i just added alpine type r 6.5 in fairing and some 6x9 in saddlebags without changing the lids. And a arc audio moto 600x4 amp. i couldn't be happier with the outcome.
Nice rg....what's an update on these pipes?pros/cons as far as performance sound and hearing the stereo?any deceleration popping?.... got a 12 Sg looking at putting these on currently running a decatted head pipe rc components slips ons fuel Pak with a Heavy breather aircleaner.possiably do a fuel moto 107 kit with heads down the road and a dyno tune. I know a 2into1 will be the best numbers but love the sound and look of these...any feedback is appreciated
Juan Torres. thanks. im definitely happy i chose the road glide over the street glide. being tall and having that fairing just that much further away makes all the difference.
Im sure the pipes alone wouldn't add much noticeable power gain but yes after i installed the FP3 there was a big noticeable power gain. Yes the backfiring stopped. I wouldn't recommend the fp3, not saying its bad but i am going to switch to the power vision just because i want my bike put on a actual dyno and cant find a shop that can do so with the fp3. Also i added the big city thunder baffles to these pipes and the sound difference is amazing. I will be posting alot more videos once the weather brakes here in Chicago.
No shit, I'm looking into running the same setup with the V&H big radius and the fuel pack FP3. Didnt see a follow up the FP3 or maybe I missed it, can you provide me with your feedback? $399 sounds pricey for something so simple and small lol
I have no issues with it. Everything works great and runs damn near perfect. But im going to upgrade to the powervision I've heard great things about it. Plus i wanna do cams and can't find a shop that can dyno my bike with the fp3 so its useless to me now. My opinion is spend the extra couple hundred bucks and get the powervision.

Sounds nice I have a 98 ultra classic was my dads actually he passed in October of cancer and bought it and took baffle packing out etc but want the big radius and worried that it’ll need tuned etc how did it work out and where did you get everything from
Did you have to relocate your right passenger peg for these? Have talked to VH twice now and gotten two different answers, and since my gal rides with me on occasion I want to make sure the pegs are misaligned with each other.

Still running the FP3 runs great definitely more power. Never got it put on a dyno because nobody around me can dyno it with the fp3. I will hopefully be getting the power vision tuner soon and will get it dynoed then. Heard alot of great things about the power vision definitely worth looking into.
Bike sounds awesome man! I have full rinehart setup on mine and not really liking the sound I want to put these on my streetglide but how does the power feel and can you hear the radio with them cruising and on the highway?
Nice RG man. I have a 2012 RG custom, 2 into 1 V&h pro-pipe, screamin eagle hvy breather. Like you, I'm 6-5 and need apes but I was looking into 14 inch yaffe or invidtka bars. Did you have to swap out your cables? I'm trying to eliminate that cable swap cost of $1600!! Thanks Big T
Terence McCants. no i didn't have to worry about the cables. on the 15 and 16 road glides there is plenty of extra cable to do up to a 14 inch bar but im not sure about a 2012. i would assume its the same but not positive.

Terence McCants. these are loud and especially when you crack the throttle. not that deep. id say medium deep sound. i was thinking about getting the big city thunder baffles. i heard they make it alot deeper.
nope. i got the kst kustoms outlaw bars. 1 1/4 all the way down except for the hand grips they are 1 inch. you can buy handlebars that step down to 1 inch at the risers but you will then have to change the risers to 1 inch instead of the stock 1 1/4.
deysa Magic I don't think it will be if you have the stock seat and bars, I'm 6'3" and changed the bars from stock to a 13" mini ape and it pulls me forward just enough so my back doesn't hurt. road 6 customs is where I got my bars...

Michael Doucette its a Harley Davidson seat. called the low profile. and honestly it is very very comfortable no moving around trying to find a comfortable spot. it is literally a 10 out of 10.
Sergio sergios. it works fine I bought it because I thought it was cool all the things that you could do on your phone with it but literally after you install it add the tune make a couple of adjustments you never use it again it just sits there more than likely next year I am going to take it to the dealership and have them install a tuner and put it on the dyno . I can't find any shops that can Dyno the bike with this tuner
those pipes suck...ride behind a bike with those pipes and they throw dust and crap all over you....that's why they call them street sweepers...they suck

Buy a Thunder Max Fuel Controller and don't look back. Best tuner on the market. Pricy but worth every penny. Nice RG buy the way looks sweet.

There are some nice extensions with built in led lights, try custom cruisers and jp cycles they might be by kuryakin

Did you have to get cable extensions for your taller handle bars or was there enough length from the factory
more then enough from factory. you can even get 12 inch apes with stock cable. mine are 10 inch.

Had these on my Harley sound is amazing but those 2 plus hour rides at 80-90 mph it would give you a headache even in a full helmet
what is the width of your bars at the top? I just purchased a set of 10" bars similar to yours but black. the width at the top is 32".
when i bought them they said they were gunna be 37 inches but they are actually only 34

Yes absolutely. Doesn't hurt your ears at all. Is it loud? YES but nothing insane like that.
