No it was mentioned that he improvised a lot of the acting, dialogue and subtle things that made the movies so damn funny and enjoyable. But then in pirates 5, Disney didn't allow him to improvise any of the scenes anymore so that's why it was the worst of them all and Johnny himself disliked the movie

He did a lot of improvising with him and they kept a lot of it in. Like the "Jar of Dirt" song. That was all Johnny. It wasn't in the script. Gotta love him!!! Let's see Amber Turd do that!!!! LoL... 🤣😆

Believe it or not, I have seen clips and not all of the movies. Why, you may ask? I just didn't grow up watching Pirates of the Caribbean. Recently, I finished the first one and loved it. Now, I need to watch the second and then the third.. and the rest is what I'm not sure about watching. I've heard the movies after the third one started to become bad in quality.
And he studied why people in those days (about 19th century) were off the loops for the mad hatter from ' Alice through the looking glass', bc the hats they wore had mercury in the glue.. so that's why a lot got crazy in those days.. that's how he played the mad hatter! He makes these characters his endeavour..

@mykylc I saw the first and loved it, began the sequel and just didn't do much for me and the others well, I thought why bother. Then I see and read that it was him, I am very tempted to now go watch, though I also feel disney screwed him on what, a one sided story, believing it and then dropping him, like that, "snap of the finger - blink of an eye" I say in good conscious cannot right now let them make $$$$$ from Johnny's personal misery. I think, he needs good bread and rehab, to now face past and this present, because this will sink in slowly, and "maybe" the best thing for him, the shame people feel with the background one carries usually do not have such talent & sense of survival as a child to turn towards those gifted talent(s), extra gifted.
