Thanks for the video. We're going on our first Oceania cruise in September, so your video is quite timely. Thanks also for smuggling the drink menu from the bar nice to see the selections. You have a new subscriber. 😀🚢
Well….you certainly are forensic on our behalf. It’s extremely expensive & a drinks package makes sense….but it does encourage us to drink a tad more than perhaps we should. We are travelling tomorrow on Regent, purely on your recommendation so let’s hope it’s great. We do rely on your honesty for all things cruising.
I always take the basic package as a perk then upgrade to the premium package. I like cocktails and Scotch so it more than pays off. Should also mention that Oceania allows you to bring your own liquor aboard.
I love you two and I'm wishing your channel great success. This was a great help in letting me know that the prestige package will suit me on an upcoming cruise my family has planned with Oceania. Lastly, I live in the Chicago area and the drink prices seem very good to me! Things aren't cheap around here.
😂 We thought it was expensive in the USA when we were there! Spain is a lot cheaper!!! Glad the video helped and thanks for the great comments ❤️ Have a great cruise. We are now planning another Oceania cruise on a newer ship as we’ve had so many people tell us our experience isn’t typical, so need to try again and feedback some good comments! 🤗
I've found Oceania to be very up front about pricing. They won't nickel and dime you to death. The upgrade of $30/day (inclusive of gratuity) to the Prestige Select package is well worth the cost and to note, both persons in the cabin do not have to purchase the upgrade like on may other lines.
Adding to what I have already said just about all those wines you show even imported wines are quite cheap in Australia they are between $12 and $20 Australian per bottle and the cruise lines and not just this line sell a glass at the same price as Australians can buy on land after all duty and taxes has been paid. The Australian dollar is also worth less than the US Dollar. Somebody is taking advantage of the passengers and yet not a single blogger here ever mentions the prices the cruise lines buy at..
Very disappointed I did not see Dos Equis on your beer menu. It was on their menue on our last Oceania Cruise. Will have to call I and ask them to have it on board as we enjoy a cold beer with our lunch. Oceania’s cut back on food and drinks is becoming disturbing.
Yes, you can bring liquor aboard, vodka, rum, whisky etc. I was just on the Regatta and will be on the Sirena in a few weeks. I get the upgraded package so no need to bring my own, but I do buy bottles ashore and take them back aboard and there's never a second glance. You're supposed to consume your own spirits in your room, but there's nothing to stop you from wandering around with your homemade cocktails.
How they can charge a gratuity for each drink when you have paid gratuities or had them included in your cruise is a rip off. Think I will go Regent or Azamara.
@@maureendennis8316 It’s the package that they include usually when booking which includes basic drinks package (wine during lunch and dinner) WiFi and various excursions.
Brilliant! Very helpful. We are going on Oceania Riviera in 2026. Can’t wait!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing the menu as you read it. SO helpful.
Great video, very informative Stuart & Christina. Extremely expensive whiskey drinks. I enjoyed your whole series on Oceania.
@@gilbydog7350 Thanks so much! ❤️

We are heading on Vista soon. Have you sailed on her?

Does the Prestige Select package include any additional wine selections by the glass that are not part of House Select?
No we don’t think so we believe it’s the same selection, you just get bar drinks spirits etc with the prestige
Are you allowed to bring only wine onboard or can you bring any type of liquor - for example vodka?
No we believe it’s only wine not spirits unfortunately 👍🏼
