I suggest that you should avoid aim 7 unless the map is city cause players always fly low on other maps to use ground clutter to fool the missile Or just be conservative and dont fire Aim7s at players low to the ground. Aim 9 L are close range they tend to be more reliable.

I would have just bought flares straight up. Even though I do not own any top tier jets I refuse to play stock no flares against late heat seeking missiles. Everything else is fine but flares should be given upon aircraft purchase.

Chaff and flares should be implemented like what they did with parts and fpe, you have them stock but maybe half the amount until you get the upgrade

You get 60 flares already on planes that have them. The ones you research give you the max amount and use of chaff as well
