Because he asked her a question about it and she is a public figure. Women experience domestic violence all the time and are scared to share their story because of many reasons: shame, embarrassment, stigma of leaving and going through a divorce. If Joy sheds light on her experience maybe it will encourage other women to come forward and leave their situation and seek help before it is too late.

I agree. Especially when famous women do it. How can anyone actually verify the story they are telling? Seriously. No witnesses, no person to corroborate what they are saying. And worse off, if they've dated other famous men and DON'T name who actually abused them, then those men now all get question marks put over their heads. Which isn't fair to them. We have to stop just automatically taking woman's story as gospel truth. @@StevenEvens7125 This is strictly my opinion on why her engagement with Earl fell off. Joy has been adamant and consistent that she doesn’t want children. I think for many men, where there’s not even a compromise of “bear me just one child and then we can stop”, I think that’s a deal breaker.

A person that wants to always be argumentative has to have the last word and very combative always looking for verbal confrontation.
