This should be listed on Air B & B for like $2000 / night. It would be sold EVERY night. This is $730,000 / year. She would also need to hire a very prestigious group of people to go in and give a very thorough inspection of the house before the cleaning crew came in to clean it. Everything would need to be inventoried and counted for before every rental. It could be done with a lot of work a patience. This way, it could be seen and lived in by hundreds of people who LOVED the show!

I am really amazed they were able to recreate the interior to match the one on the show, thats so awesome, must have taken alot of work to pull that off, but I am glad they did, it is a time piece for sure. I also grew up watching this show and loved it, I was about the same age as the middle kids and really related to them. What a great time to be a kid and things seemed so simple back then. Thanks Tina for insuring this house will remain the Brady's house, well worth the investment if not just for that reason alone because it meant so much to those that watched the show and could relate to it.
Love that it was renovated to mirror the old BB TV studio set I was a big fan of the show I remember watching it every week as a kid. it is wonderful that the actual house has found a new owner that apricates the history. of the house
I grew up watching the Brady Bunch Show. It was one of my favorites besides the Partridge Family. I wouldn't mind at all living in this iconic home. Love that it was Renovated back to mimic the show back then. That's Awesome. 😊
The living room alone, gives me warm and fuzzy memories of my 70’s childhood! I can imagine myself, sitting on the couch, drinking my morning coffee! So yes, I would buy this place, given the chance!
It was so funny to me as I watched bits and pieces of the HGTV project that after going to such painstaking extremes to match things from the set - photos of the stones and details inside - that they blew it on something so easy to recreate, which was the groovy fabric curtain on Tiger's old doghouse! Haha!
I think anyone growing up in the 70s wanted to live in that house. It wasn’t only iconic, but it was familiar and brought a lot of positivity to life. If I had the money, I would have done something similar to what Tina did.
Grew up watching TBBif I had the $ of course, wouldn't of thought twice! It's the sentimental point of view, not the "investment" in the property! Glad HGTV bought it restored it with the help of the Brady Gang and maybe someday the owner will open it up to the general public and any of us can go see it and take that magical trek down memory lane! Ty for sharing.
I would DEFINITELY live there! Always loved it. That show encapsulated the early 70s, and the feel good vibe the period had. My only regret was my parents' attempt to ruin my childhood with negativity. 1973-79, was Heaven on Earth. You couldn't even explain it to younger people, because they've never experienced the freedom America had before politicians abolished it. It wasn't foreign terrorists that hated our freedom, it was our own government.
If they were Baby Boomers it's in their wiring😂They were the 1rst generation of disposable income terns, they had it made, now they are all about red tape, no freedom, rules and more rules.
I was born in this period but I can still say it was a positive time and I have great memories from it. I remember listening to Karen Carpenter and playing in our hous with loud wallpaper and all of the amber glass ect.
It would be nice if I was that financially secure unlike the Brady Bunch I'm not as financially well off and am stuck owning or partially owning a mobile home on somebody else's property that I pay rent to in a mobile home park. The Brady bunch era was a better time and we had a better country.

The Brady bunch was one of my favorite shows growing up. Like many boys around 9 or 10 I was crushing on Marsha. Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.
Nice piece, since the house is around the corner from my office and doors away from a friend's house, I can say, it is not in the hills of Studio City, but the flats. A beautiful house and area nonetheless!
This house is one of the most iconic homes in the country and the second most photographed next to the white house....it is also in an expensive neighborhood to begin with...honestly..i think she got a bargain!!
She's right. She will never get her money back on that because as time goes by more and more people who are emotionally attached to the show (which ended 50 years ago) are dying off. In twenty years people will view The Brady Bunch like we view The Howdy Doody Show. Very little people are alive that experienced that first hand, and even fewer with over $5 million bucks to purchase it. Still, if you have the funds to do it, why not? You can't take it with you.
There's one GIGANTIC problem. The Bradys completely renovated the house in the mid 1980s. Superfans of the TV show would know that the original house (built circa 1959) was early postmodern, but received a huge re-styling 25+ years later. Gone was all the brown wood, the kitchen was completely updated and they even installed a glass-block wall-feature near the staircase. Even the furniture & lamps were replaced with mid 80s pastel colored furnishings (except for the iconic chest of drawers below the staircase). The Bradys themselves moved on from the original styling, shouldn't we?

OK, soooo... what's going to happen with the house? Is she going to live in it? Offer tours? VRBO it? The problem is, it's in a residential area and not zoned for usage as, like, a venue for parties or weddings (how fun would THAT be -- having your wedding there, complete with shaggy dog leaping onto the buffet... 😅)
I was surprised that the video said that the house was "virtually unchanged." I counted at least 6 different photos, several different versions of the house... With/without brick wall in front. With/without wrought iron topping the wall. With/without upstairs window. With one window on the right... or two. The HGTV program may explain the changes.
Remember as a six year old being confused by a white maid. The Hazel reruns hadn’t started so it was a new concept and one I never grasped until Downton Abbey.
Yes! I would live in the actual house. I would still bring in personal items, but rotate them periodically with the items that were original to the soundstage set.
While I could never purchase any home that expensive, I would love to live in it. I even had a couch just like it in the 60's. And, my kitchen was green even the refrigerator, but, not the counters. The orange was a bit much, but seemed right for the Brady Bunch. The only draw back would be that it was in California. My mom was from California & we all loved visiting, but I would NEVER live there. I love Florida and will stay here. Thank you.

There's one GIGANTIC problem. The Bradys completely renovated the house in the mid 1980s. The Bradys themselves moved on from the original styling, shouldn't we?
Came for the astro turf... left slightly let down... So I ended up watching Brady Bunch film from the 90's. It was worth it.

The two photos of the house from the outside look quite different. Did they also renovate the outside?
I was surprised that the video said that the house was "virtually unchanged." I counted at least 6 different photos, several different versions of the house... With/without brick wall in front. With/without wrought iron topping the wall. With/without upstairs window. With one window on the right... or two. The HGTV program may explain the changes.
Remember as a six year old being confused by a white maid. The Hazel reruns hadn’t started so it was a new concept and one I never grasped until Downton Abbey.
Yes! I would live in the actual house. I would still bring in personal items, but rotate them periodically with the items that were original to the soundstage set.
I like the home, but wouldn't live there.
Interesting, thanks for sharing! What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
Anything about the beverly hillbillies mansion, leave it to beaver home and dennis the menance home.
Thank you.
Can't say you are restoring it to its "former glory" when it never looked like it the sets we see on the show in the first place.
I have not seen the show since the 80s and as far as I care the show can stay in the past.
Yes,I would definitely live in the Brady-Bunch house. Where is the house located?
A 900 sq ft crackhouse in California is $850k...nothing would surprise me when it comes to California!
I grew up on the show, but I would want the inside to reflect today's times.
