On a bit of a nostalgia trip we came on holiday here in 1972 I was 5/6 sister was 9 remember it being very posh and having to be on your best behaviour, Unfortunately my Dad got into a drunken bet with another guest and proceeded to drink all the liqueurs and ended up in hospital with Alcohol Poisoning! This was on the last night so me, my sister and Mum had to fly back to England next day leaving him there (Mum was not best pleased!) Happy Days!
@@gowithjo1 Good memories of this holiday from what my 5yr old self can remember still got Cine Camera footage apparently nearly drowned in pool after climbing a pool slide but thankfully have no memory of this whatsoever! Cheers Jim, Surrey
It was Joe - though I'm going to be honest, the weather hasn't been so good in the UK this summer and I'm craving some heat. Raining out my window as I write. Still waiting for that US border to open for us Brits!!

It has been extremely hot here in Missouri, but this weekend has been very rainy; my pool almost overflowed. @@joemichaels4231 I have been away for 10 days, but the weather here has been SO bad (flooding and stormy in London as I write) that those shorts have only come out for ONE video - it will be the next one I post. Not been warm enough for any of the others - although in one of them I'm in a bikini instead!! Watch this space...ps you're SO lucky to have a pool...

Is Jersey good for a holiday and is the Merton near St Helier?
Jersey is excellent for a holiday and the Merton is IN St. Helier - it's about a ten minute walk from the centre, but I liked that walk.
5 minutes walk and Jersey and less than an hour flight from UK. Recommended.
