That the lamps of the foolish ones were dying shows that the lamps had oil, else they could not have been burning and dying. The 5 wise ones also took oil in their vessels. Proverbs 20:27 says that the spirit in man is the lamp of the Lord . That makes it clear that the oil we receive in our spirit when we become believers. What then is the vessel in which the wise ones had oil? That is our soul, our mind, emotion and will. We need to make use of every oportunity to buy more oil while we live.
Matthew 25:3 says... When they took their lamps, did not take oil with them. Verse 8...for our lamps are going out.. Meaning that they must have had some oil but only in their lamps, not in the vessels. With some believers when You meet them, they flow over with the OIL. That has certainly not come without being diligente to full themselves. Paul in Ephesians 5 says, be filled in spirit. Will mean with the Spirit of God. All of us believers have this life inside in our spirit. Some might not feel like pouring it out, but it's wonderful to have SO much that it flows out.
