I loved the house with the separate ADU house, it would have been perfect for his dad to live independently in his own private space, but also be in close proximity to his son if he needed assistance & to visit him. The house was also very nice for the young man. The price was within his means also. I had no idea that even after getting the pre-approval that your credit rating could drop if you were late paying a bill while you were searching for a home. I thought it was locked in with the bank. That was an eye-opener to discover that this could happen even after you got pre-approved. I’m learning a lot from this show and really enjoy watching the host go out of her way to educate the homebuyer. Great show, it’s a breath of fresh air to see a respectable positive black show for once on OWN! These tv networks & movie industry executives just don’t get that we need better programming that is positive and well written to pique our interest. Tired of watching black women fighting & arguing and bad relationships! There are more positive stories out there concerning our community and culture! Time for a change! I hope this show gets another season, love this type of programming! 😊❤️

I didn’t think that I would like this new show on OWN. However, I like it and look forward to the weekly episodes. First Time Buyer’s Club is peaceful and joyous, as opposed to the other reality shows on OWN, where there’s constant drama. This show is good! 👍🏽👩🏽‍🦱🇺🇸
