Thanks Chuck, Just caught you on TO's stream. I ordered this exact unit while on my 4 month annual fishing break. I've never taken out of the box but, I am right now. It came highly recommended from a friend. I'll let y'all know how it works out.

Nice job Chuck ! Them inverters are well known in the RV industry. I have installed a few. Some things I learned that ground in a RV goes to the frame . In a cabin or home it goes to a ground rod. I have had users of them inverters have trouble with inverter cables coming loose in RV . Fist get better and bigger wire and have a fuse and or DC breaker inline to battery. Like 2 AWG or 0 AWG for 2KW model. Use copper lugs . for them terminals on back replace with stainless steel NYlock nuts their are metric thread. you can replace with copper washer . keep the loc washer. USE RTV silicone to make protective cover after making connection. Mount wire with hold down clamps. Nylon type. Some roads in the US are so bad things come loose in a RV/TRUCK. I even used Loctite on threads . For that inverter noise put ferrite on battery cables buy inverter . use a bunch of type 31 snap on type. for the AC put the cord threw a FT 240-31 core wrap bunch of times and place close to inverter . nocks that noise down . Always mount them where can get air threw inverter . and in dry place. 73

@@KK6USYHamRadioAdventures I haven't gotten my 1000 watt into service other than light testing, but the 2000 watt has been installed more than a year. Air compressor, tv, fans, everything I've thrown at it it has zero problems with. My shack only has a 100 ah lifepo4, and 2 charge controllers at 30a and 60a. When we've had power outages I've ran an extension cord into the house and put out 1000 watts of solar (usually only 320w solar, I have a fold up 600 watt panel I pull out when I need more charging) and I can keep my fridge and a few fans going no problem if I'm cautious of usage. I'm definitely going to expand my battery storage at some point but for my little bit of use it's been going absolutely great
