You can say a lot about Putin, but not that he is stupid! He knows full well that on the day he was supposed to attack NATO somehow, somewhere, intentionally and officially, he wrote and signed his unconditional surrender and/or death warrant! The capacity of NATO, used for defense but usable for attack, is 10 times and more! He will never be that stupid! And his games with his nuclear missiles are the "games" to test where he stands! As bad as that sounds, not even a day after he fires nuclear weapons into NATO territory, we don't have to worry about WW3 anymore, because I think the French would destroy Moscow faster than the Ammies would say 'Go' could! - Our [not far] left-wing party "Die Linke" has just split and the rebel [Sara Wagenknecht - an avowed socialist, born in the GDR] has founded a new party! With the Propaganda that Ukraine can only survive if it surrenders and begs for peace from Putin (my interpretation), it is currently capturing up to 10-15% of the votes in the three upcoming state elections in East German federal states! Because these people believe Ms. Wagenknecht's Propaganda out of uneducated fear! - I am against war but for a life in freedom! And not only Putin knows that he only survives if he doesn't lose! That's why He [personally] will only be able to accept an unconditional surrender of Ukraine! And this Ukraine shows Him exactly where He can hide his desires for the Tsar! - Any compromise in favor of Putin's ideas for his tsarist empire will bring us closer to WW3 faster than it will prevent a necessary demonstration of NATO's ever-present superiority! - IMTO [*t=true]
Boris hat alles versprochen, der Wagen rollt ohne Bremse wir haben keine Lenkung. Aber das läuft schon ,Hauptsache am Ende auf die Deutschen, wie immer.
Conscrption is not abolished but just suspended at the moment, so it would be easy to reintroduce it.. problem is, that back in the day, you had the majority of young men trained the basics, now there's a gap of 15 years there that basic skillset was not taught...
Our conscription was not abolished I ended my conscription in 2002, which means I would also be drafted relatively quickly. The fact that Great Britain does not have a duty at the moment does not change the fact that in a WW3 case, mobile is also made relatively quickly there. And you can rely on the fact that there is no big question whether you want or not want to, but that a few friendly military policies are at your door and you will move in whether you are up for it or not whether you are in Germany or in Great Britain. Who is capable will be pulled in ready... that's how the big game runs maybe people wake up now and understand why Russia should be put in its place and how Ukraine must provide it with weapons that it only crashes that is probably the best way to avoid a third world war.
To be honest, you don't have to worry too much about Germany supplying weapons, because Russia has no way to compete against the West as long as Ukraine is alive and the West is arming itself enough.
Peace efforts are, of course, what the biggest focus should be on. However, how do you drive peace efforts if one party, the aggressor in this case, clearly only sees peace as a possible solution if their terms are met? Terms which would basically just reward them for the illegitimate aggression and leave the attacked more vulnerable than before, paving the way for more aggressive take-over scenarios. And to answer your question why we are like this: I find a quote from The Matrix quite suitable here. "Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but [...] humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. [...] A Virus." Mankind is a virus to this planet and to itself.
First of all, this was a bad video to react to as the "reporting" goes out on a limb and spreads a lot of assumptions as facts. It is made, in my opinion, to fearmongering towards NATO and specific Germany. Several other commenters already stated that the conscription was never abolished, but suspended. Personally, I am a pacifist, but a pragmatic one. Somebody endangers me or my family, the children around me, well ...
Conscription officially has been frozen but not abolished so theoretically it can come back any day. In reality it is very unlikely and it needs to be an actual war to reinstate it.
Why do you think it's Germany (of all players 😅) who's deciding this (and the UK has to follow)? I'm pretty sure, 'close alignment with our allies' means following the US - for both the UK and Germany...
I was drafted into military service but did nine months of alternative service from 2009-2010, I worked with children and teens with disabilities of all kind which I personally found more fulfilling than serving in the armed forces. I won't allow myself to be conscripted in the event of war either, I'd rather bugger off abroad quickly, I would have alternative options outside NATO in an emergency. I would be pure cannon fodder and I don't want to end up like that. This opinion is extremely unpopular in Germany, especially if you express it publicly, but I don't give a crap. I wouldn't want to die for any country in the world.
The "cannon fodder" scenario is total bullshit! Highly qualified soldiers wouldn't be sacrificed them intentionally in this country! In addition, soldiers are also needed in the medical field, for example, so that fits in with your military service. If a bomb hits a hospital again, then you'll probably have to argue as cannon fodder if you don't have any other people. Life is finite, unfortunately that is all too often misunderstood. You can keep your antisocial "my life is worth more than that of others" thoughts! What has happened to our society? Elbows and extreme individualism everywhere to supposedly give life meaning. And yet the world is being destroyed by this very attitude and way of life!
Given that I'd probably be ruled medically unfit for fighting (and tbh I'm also a coward) I would try to help away from the frontline as a technician, paramedic or smth like that.
Concering the question about the draft in a „ 3 World war“ i m always willing to defent myself If my hometown is in danger, but i will Not take Part in militäry activities at a foreign border . The war in ukraine is not threating enoughr for my Country Geermany to take Part.
Conscription was never really abolished. It has always been enshrined in the Basic Law that it would come back into force in the event of war. What else can you expect? No one can expect a country not to call on its citizens to defend itself in the event of war.
Regarding your question whether we would pick up arms - obviously I can only answer for myself - but yes, I probably would. It's a tough question for me and I can't answer it with 100% confidence. I have two young boys under the age of five and they are without any doubt my highest and most important responsibility by a margin. Then again... we live about an hour north-east-east of Munich. German defense projections say, with the standing army we have, we might be able to defend Munich, but anything east of it is probably gone within the first three weeks, if Russia decided to attack full force in an all-out conventional war. My guess is I'd try to get my kids and their mother to safety further west and then I'd get myself into the military and try to help stop the Russian advance. I'm pretty much a pacifist, but with certain kinds of bullies all you can do is stand your ground. In my opinion... if 'we', the 'collective west' hadn't allowed Putin to keep Crimea after their incursion (when it still were just 'green men' under no national flag), he wouldn't have dared to invade the east of Ukraine.
Btw, fyi... conscription in Germany wasn't abolished, but temporarily halted. When I was finished with school, back in the day, I got a letter telling me to go to the district recruiting office (Kreiswehrersatzamt) for mustering/army physical evaluation. They only conscripted very few back then and you actually could opt out if you were and do substitute service. Theyy really didn't need that many because they were downsizing the standing army and were going for a more specialized army. I was born in '87 and one of the last to be called in for mustering. I dearly hope the current war will not escalate beyond Ukraine, but I feel like the German army should start calling in everybody of military age for mustering, so when s*** hits the fan, we don't start at zero and can mobilize faster and prioritize who to call in first for conscription. Si vis pacem para bellum... makes me sad to think along those lines, but apparently we live in an Europe where too many have forgotten the horrors of war, past generations have endured.
@@alexg.9454 Well, I wouldn't underestimate Russia's ability to build up fast. Right now they might lack a lot of hightech components, but that is literally all they lack, and they will find a way around that. It's one of the only countries that has all the necessary natural ressources within its own borders to ramp up production on all military goods. It's much cheaper for them to train, equip and maintain a single soldier, tank or jet than it is for western countries. Russia is just starting to ramp up their production capabilities and they are already able to produce as many bombs, artillery shells, missiles, ammo for rifles, et cetera in a quarter as all of Nato is able in a whole year. Their tech might not be as advanced as ours in some regards, but the sheer output they are able to create should make us all reconsider our arrogant stance of superiority. Not regarding Russia as a serious threat is about as stupid as it gets, tbh.
I agree, there needs to be peace. But what are we going to sacrifice for it? Ukraine? The Baltics, Poland, Moldova, Georgia? When should we stop Putin? When he reaches for the UK? I'm afraid it will be too late then.

Wait, you are from (not so great anymore) Britain, right ? If i remember well Britain is one of the Nuclear powers on the planet, right ? And Germany is actually only doing what they should have done years before. They invest in a better military now. Conventional military , not into nuclear weapons. But it is good to hear that a man from Britain is thinking about peace on earth. Although britain has still one of the most powerful Military in the world. Besides that one of the biggest weapon producers globally is also british, right ? And looking back in history (maybe you should try that out too ) we learn that there is no other country and state on earth that has invaded more countries on earth than "Great" Britain. So if you may want to find a reason why people are fighting on the globe right now, then i would guess that some of them may have learnd from Britain. And in britain it was always only about recources and how to get richer and how to exploit the recources of other countries, right ? and yess that also included masses of human recources. And yes Britain never cared about how many people they would kill. And that also included britains. You are from the most violent countries in the history of human kind my friend. Have you never learned that ?
And i have to tell you that praying will not help us either, sorry no. Because to this very day many many of our violent conflicts and wars have been fought over religions and ideologies. Soyou better only belive in one thing. In life itself.

You need to stop thinking about what that tarty ladyboy in high heels wants. It's irrelevant and any reaction to it is inconsequential. Putin is a bully and you do not negotiate with bullies. And that is the end of it. You can like it or you don't. It's not going to change anything and particularly not a bully. If you want to see how negotiating with Putin looks like just look at 2013/14 and you have your answer. A very predictable outcome.
Do you know the German seer Alois Irlmaier? If not, here is a quote from him (ca. 1950) about England's future: "Suddenly, an aircraft will be seen flying from east to west, dropping something over the 'great water'. Following this, the sea will rise to an extraordinary height, creating a massive tidal surge - an alarmingly tall wall of water - that will inundate everything in its path. The majority of England, as well as most countries along the Atlantic and North Sea coasts, will be affected by this deluge, which is said to reach as far inland as Berlin." If this doesn't convince you, read his other predictions. Take care of yourself and act accordingly.
By mid-January, Great Britain had supported Ukraine with weapons and aid worth around 8.3 billion euros. By comparison, Germany supplied weapons and aid and made support payments totalling 6.2 billion euros. I think you have no idea what has happened in Europe in recent years and you should first inform yourself before making comments on such videos
By the end of January 2024, total support payments to Ukraine from Germany (including weapons, etc.) amounted to a whopping 28 billion euros. Germany is Ukraine's biggest supporter after the USA. Check your data
Isn't that interesting about Humans in general? The more you speak of, post about, etc. about negativ stuff, it turns into a self fufilling prophetie. But posting, etc. about change towards positiv things it just gets less and less believability, the longer it goes on, till it is no longer taken serious at all.
War brings our societies to a ultimate test against each other. It's evolution on a higher level. A single human normally don't want war but our society is our anthill. It builds a kind of existence in a higher complexity. It thinks different.
Do not serve, no matter where you are, no matter for what reason, if you're interested in a better world do not serve military!!!!!! Resist wherever you can

-
Our [not far] left-wing party "Die Linke" has just split and the rebel [Sara Wagenknecht - an avowed socialist, born in the GDR] has founded a new party!
-
I am against war but for a life in freedom! And not only Putin knows that he only survives if he doesn't lose! That's why He [personally] will only be able to accept an unconditional surrender of Ukraine! And this Ukraine shows Him exactly where He can hide his desires for the Tsar!
-
Any compromise in favor of Putin's ideas for his tsarist empire will bring us closer to WW3 faster than it will prevent a necessary demonstration of NATO's ever-present superiority!

13:53 no, Z-Ork Putin is crazy
Ich hoffe, dass meine Kinder alles unbeschadet überstehen werden. Die Welt ist doch einfach nur bekloppt.
[...] A Virus."
Mankind is a virus to this planet and to itself.
Make love not war!
Taking arms for this government? Never ever! Although i'm 68 i will never support this stupidity!! 😊
How serious is "the sun"? Isn't it trash press? I don't know.
Can tell ya i am already equipping myself with everything I need to survive in the woods far away from civilization
Actually ukraine received Storm shadow missels from the UK. Your Country supports the Ukraine exactly the same way like Germany
Why do you think it's Germany (of all players 😅) who's deciding this (and the UK has to follow)? I'm pretty sure, 'close alignment with our allies' means following the US - for both the UK and Germany...
Yeah we think about things like bin collection, we have a bit of war experience 🙊
The sun "exclusive" says it all...
Sorry to write again but a popular German quote isif you want peace prepare for war.
And that it's true
8:22 you are involved 😂
I was a Soldier but i never would take a weapon for stupid politicians
You already did
@@simonkustner1561 Yes but it was 26years ago
Given that I'd probably be ruled medically unfit for fighting (and tbh I'm also a coward) I would try to help away from the frontline as a technician, paramedic or smth like that.
The only reasons for war I could imagine are greed and religion. Right?
Als einer der ersten hat Großbritannien Waffen an die Ukraine geliefert....
Concering the question about the draft in a „ 3 World war“ i m always willing to defent myself If my hometown is in danger, but i will Not take Part in militäry activities at a foreign border . The war in ukraine is not threating enoughr for my Country Geermany to take Part.
If they want, they should come🤷
Conscription was never really abolished.
Russia and what army? 😂😂
Wake Up, the War has already started. And to answer your Question: there is no Peace without War like there is no Shadow without Light.
yes
I agree, there needs to be peace. But what are we going to sacrifice for it? Ukraine? The Baltics, Poland, Moldova, Georgia? When should we stop Putin? When he reaches for the UK? I'm afraid it will be too late then.
I hear this kind of strange logic everywhere nowadays, but maybe you can explain to me how Russias military force is supposed to get stronger and stronger the more countries they attack and fight against? Does this work like in Pokemon with level-ups?!
@@toxiccc777 This!
People think propaganda only exists in Russia and don't realise that they are eating propaganda pie of their own government and general media themselves.
@@toxiccc777 Well, it worked out quite well for Hitler back in the days (at least for the first couple of years). Russia is a totalitarian system, they have huge resources and lots of cannon fodder - and they won't hesitate to draft man after man after man. Of course they will eventually collapse, just like the Nazis did. But the damage will be done then.
Dwayne, haven't you noticed anything of what's going on with Russia since 2014, and the UK's involvement?
Good luck with stopping an imperial aggressor with a friendly chat.
not sure why we still listening to russian threads, lets keep things in perspective, the russian industrial outputis the size of italy....its one of those tiny shizus barking at a great dane kind of situations...and for some reason the great dane is terrified....
Its a privilige to be pacifist
Bad pick to react to.
Didn't you react to two other similar clips bevor and gave an oposit opinion? German military needs to be rebuilt and actualised to fulfill the actually contract with the NATO....
1950) about England's future:
"Suddenly, an aircraft will be seen flying from east to west, dropping something over the 'great water'. Following this, the sea will rise to an extraordinary height, creating a massive tidal surge - an alarmingly tall wall of water - that will inundate everything in its path. The majority of England, as well as most countries along the Atlantic and North Sea coasts, will be affected by this deluge, which is said to reach as far inland as Berlin."
If this doesn't convince you, read his other predictions.
But posting, etc. about change towards positiv things it just gets less and less believability, the longer it goes on, till it is no longer taken serious at all.
nope
War brings our societies to a ultimate test against each other. It's evolution on a higher level.
A single human normally don't want war but our society is our anthill. It builds a kind of existence in a higher complexity. It thinks different.
He is quoting to a jew that has been a German politician, his name is Siegmar Gabriel!
Self fulfilling preophecies?
You are reacting to right wing propaganda Dwayne.
Said the left wing extremist.
Yay, we're playing war again....
But we tried to deescalate with the Russians, but England in particular didn't want that.
Do not serve, no matter where you are, no matter for what reason, if you're interested in a better world do not serve military!!!!!! Resist wherever you can
If you are not willing to fight for your country, then you should not receive anything from your country.
I think that statement is questionable. Would the country fight for me? As an individual, the state doesn't really care about me. I go to work, pay taxes and also pay money into the social security system, so I am entitled to receive help if I need it.
@@eastfrisianguy Yes, if you mean that about your own country, then you should find yourself a new country!
Deal, if it stops taking my taxes.
That's a naive statement. The country and the government is built on people's taxes. Fighting and probably dying for the interests of politians would be just plain stupid.
