I loved how he looked like he was thoroughly enjoying himself the entire song. He absolutely rocked this cover and took it to a whole different level... dare I say “EPIC”. Favorite part was Jonathan smiling at the camera at the end of the piano solo. One of the initial reasons I really got into his covers was the energy and smiles he had in his videos. Was infectious.

I can't decide what was more entertaining - the music, or that part about systemic underwater oppression. Amazing work as usual, Jonathan.
I mean, they live in a hereditary monarchy where the humanoid mer-people clearly outrank the talking fish. Underwater oppression, marine classism and fish racism are unaddressed social issues in this society.
