I dual-wield unholy tanked on my DK in ICC in LK to get the achieve mounts. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. I didn't take a lot of damage overall because so much was avoided with my high parry/dodge, but I was prone to some random scary spike damage. I miss the dual-wielding, but I'm glad DK tanking is now an amalgamation of blood and unholy tanking from LK.
Death Knights in this expansion are always susceptible to spike damage. In my experience, the solution is to have two Holy paladins topping you every global regardless of what tank spec you are playing. Ive wanted to try unholy, tanking but it feels like just a weaker version of frost tanking in theory.
