Im planning a trip there next october. How far in advance did you book your stays?
Good choice for visiting fall foliage. I started the trip planning around 6 month in advance. The most important is to determine the timing and to book hotel or airbnb first as it can go fast especially for the peak season. Good luck on your trip planning.

Oh my gosh, this is so well done and super relaxing! My husband and I did a NH/Maine trip in October of 2021...I've procrastinated getting my gopro footage together ;) How do you keep your driving video so stable?
So glad that you liked the video. It is interesting that you are asking about the driving videos as a few folks have also asked. I thought about it. Here are some possible reasons for the stable videos. First, the video is taken using iPhone which has image stabilization function. I believe GoPro also has such function. Second, my wife took all the driving videos. I guess she just had steady hands. Last, I tried to reduce the speed during the video editing. It seemed the slower speed can provide more stable image and better visual experience. Hope these make sense.

Where did you start chasing the foliage ? what highways did you take ?
I want to do that , I have no clue where to start.
I have NEVER seen so much foliage as I seen on this video. We don't even have foliage like that in our Region.
The most I see is in my front yard with one tree blooming and anywhere else I visit , I don't see it .
What you described is exactly what I saw in my region. Before I went for this foliage trip, I was hoping to see a few more colorful trees. But what I actually saw is this massive landscape covered by the beautiful fall colors. The main area of my trip is around Waterbury and Stowe in Vermont. The foliage map was to dam fast so I quit watching !
Glad to see that you are interested in the foliage map. Unfortunately, the map is not designed for video viewer with much details. The map only try to illustrate that the fall color moves from Northwest to Southeast in a diagonal direction each year in New England. When and where the fall color will reach peak will change each year. If you are interested to learn more, you can either do an internet search as there are many good sources available or you can send me an email through worldtravelersitinerary@gmail.com, I can share with you the itinerary we used along with some useful internet sources.
