Should you choose the best photo? Or the “right” photo? It depends. In this video, I’ll share some important tips and ideas on selecting photos for various purposes.

As you’ll see in the video, the question about what photo to choose isn’t always about choosing the very best photo. You have to keep in mind the purpose. What’s the photo for? Is it for Instagram? For a blog post? Are you sending photos as part of a proposal to an editor? Or, are you creating a “best-of” portfolio of your work?
I’ll cover these different purposes. I’ll share what I’ve learned over the years - from selecting images for more fun purposes, as well as professional ones.
P.S. I’ve decided to take a break from the critiques. They’re a lot of work and judging by the views of the last episode, it seems like the topic wasn’t very popular. So, not much point to post them if very few people watch. I’ll revisit the idea after this video and see what happens.
