Mine got cancelled because of lack of funds, and after watching your video I think I am better off without it. Thanks for the video and keep up the good work!
I think that’s a little generous. The figure is very small. 40 at most. And the art book is nothing special. The sound track is very impressive for the number of songs on it but it’s a cheap cardboard case. I just feel like they didn’t put as much effort into the collectors edition. Which is shame since the remake is so good.
I think $149 would be a fine price point, I get it includes a $70 game (and $30 in dlc 🙄) but it's hard to call the soundtrack/artbook/figure (though I do prefer the figure to the armband, as I think they did a good job with it, it just could have been bigger) worth $100 when they put the CDs in a scrap of cardboard and the artbook is a flimsy paper cover. Considering P3 is my favorite game of all time I had every intention to give this CE the benefit of the doubt, but man did they drop the ball. I just ordered the Japanese collectors edition on PlayAsia for about $170 shipped and It comes with a hard cover artbook (like the ones that came with P5/P5R collectors), and a standard DVD size case for the soundtrack, if they already made those versions for Japan I have no clue why they went out of their way to make cheaper worse versions for the US CE.
I was expecting the paint-job to be better on the collectors edition figurine compared to the Pop Up parade one. The collectors edition one is called a "scale figure" (even if at a small scale), while Pop Up Parades are meant to be a middle ground between price figures and scale figures. Admitted, even price figures have become so much better in recent years, even with almost scale figure-like things like fish-net stockings sometimes, but still not at the level of scale figures. Pop Up parades try to achieve a higher quality level, but still at a lower price by having things like a plain stand and not such extravagant poses. Size alone is not the only factor for pricing. (even if it is a relatively big factor)
Yeah I was surprised by how good the paint job was just because on the other figures I’ve gotten from collectors editions it’s never that great. Like Elden ring, last of us part 2, cyberpunk. They all have just okay paint jobs. But I’m glad this one is better. It’s the most redeeming quality about the figure.
@@themanboycave122 Yeah. The pose is nothing special and the scale is a bit small, but I really like the stand. :D But you're right, compared to other collector's editions figurines, it's decent.
Wow, Aegis figure ended up being way smaller than I thought it was going to be. Not sure if $200 is worth it on this one. Maybe around $120. Also, just a note, Popup Parade figures are usually between $30-40. Super nice for the price, lol.
I love Persona games but couldn't really justify the $200 price tag, especially with it being include on Gamepass. I would have been more impressed if it came with Steelbook and maybe even a vinyl with some of the remaster soundtrack
It completely didn’t earn its price tag. I think everyone would agree on that. I didn’t even think about a steel book, but yeah that or anything more would have gone a long ways to making it better.
Lol, sure. My son does most of the videos with me and we do them in the basement/gameroom/mancave. So the name kind of worked. Or at least the best I could come up with. Plus my wife thinks I’m immature so it works that way also.
I love Persona but I thought this was way overpriced. It actually did cost 4 times more then the standard edition of the game where I live. I was like nope I am not paying 150 for basically a pop up parade figure. I think 125 for the Aigis Edition would have been fine.
Loved Persona 3 right until the end... and then I hated the ending. It felt so out of nowhere, truly unnecesary. It felt like somehow all the effort I put on the game went nowhere. I didn't even care to play the expansion later.
Limited Ed. with the Armband is way better. not only is it cheaper, you get a wearable Armband, a hard cover of the artbook, and a dual hard case for the OST. This version is terrible. not only do you get a much worse quality for the artbook/OST. the figure itself is way too small and cheap looking. Armband is way bigger and looks nicer.
Yeah I preordered that. Unfortunately that’s p3p and not reload. But it will be the best way to play as femc if you want to do that. I can’t wait to unbox that one though.
yep that is a prize quality figure, but really i seen plenty of prize figures that looks way better than her, the quality of the figure is ok, if the figure was at a level of scale figures it would be worth it but this figure is a 15 to 30 dollars figure
Detail is killer, but I'm glad I switched the standard game at the 13th hour (lol heeeey oooh) - the breaker for me was the artbook (when I heard it wasn't hardcover) - when the full one comes out eventually I'm def going to jump on that
@@themanboycave122 I recently picked up a Nintendo Switch Lite and snagged the digital version of Persona 3 for just 12 bucks! Thanks. Honestly if you are on the fence at all just buy the game. It’s great so far.
This is on my birthday wishlist! I’m stoked! I’ve never played it before so I’m super curious what I’ll think!
Small but beautiful figure! Love collector editions that come with a figure! Well done
I’m running out of space for these collectors editions though. It might be Atlus only going forward
All I gotta say is why did they rob us with that weak ass aiges figure brooooooooo 🤣and great video bro 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you! Yeah it’s just too small.
200 is about right.
Game and DLC is $100
Figure $60
Soundtrack/artbook $25-$40

The DLC expansion is not included with this bundle, so it’s another $35 for additional DLC coming out in Sept 2024

Definitely not worth 200. But it’s persona so I’m not going to complain too much.
Somehow it's cheap in Asia. I got it for 150 USD in Singapore?
Wow that’s awesome.

Yeah I completely agree. Atlus knows they are going to get suckers like me though.
The aigis edition made in japan, which is only available in SEA countries, the soundtrack is in plastic cover and the artbook is in hardcover.
Yeah and they got a sees armband as well. They definitely got a way better edition.
200$ Steep. The FFXVI was more than 300$ and i ended up having to pay 400$ cause i missed the Preorder and had to deal with scalpers.
Scalpers are the worst. I refuse to buy from them. But if it’s a collectors edition you have to have I get it.
Why did I get the collectors edition of this and not ff7r lol😂
I have to check that one out. I’m sure it’s better than the reload special edition.
Did you see the japanese version comes with a S.E.E.S armband?
I didn’t even know they got a different version. But I’m not surprised. Theirs tends to be better overall.
Yeah their art book is hardcover and the soundtrack comes in a proper plastic case.
Cool Stuff
Nice!

It’s definitely a darker ending. But it does fit the tone of the game.

Wait the art book isn’t hardcover? lol instant trash.
Way too expensive, wish the figure itself was a little bigger as well.
Yeah completely agree.
My Nintendo switch with persona 3 cost less than 200 USD 😅.
You got a great deal! Do you have a standard switch or a switch lite?

$100 edition at most. I feel ripped off.
I’d say more than 100. But 200 is too much.
