The variation that this product brings to the sim for fixed wing simmers is indeed worth it. It has enough technology to help beginners enjoy the helicopter. It certainly keeps the mind focused when landing. It offers immersion in many scenarios. Thank you for another excellent video. Much appreciated.
Indeed, it's a great addon!
Haven’t been looking for a paid helicopter, but as an airliner guy that review confirms what I really like about this product and prob will give it a try.
Something different I like variety like this keep it coming!
Next surprise coming tomorrow ;-)
After flying Hype's 145 and now 160 all I fly now is rotary wing. After talking to my friend who is a rotary wing pilot, he is amazed in what I've learned from just flying on the sim. 😊
The h160 is beautiful
I have actually worked on this platform as a project engineer, it’s called JB 117. Just came off it with a similar airbus helicopter to Den Helder airport.
Wow, now THAT is a coincidence! How did you like your time on it?
JFYI, these are all offshore installations for wind parks. Only oil rig in the German north sea is Mittelplate on the Holstein coast and a small gas producer far out in the north.
Danke!
Sweet chopper and landing.
Great Video as always..🚁..the 'rotor brake/rotor not slowing down completely' issue seems to be a bug with MSFS Live Weather, according to HPG's H160 discord..works perfectly with Rex Weather Force and other weather settings..☔⚡🌪️🌪️🌬️🌧️⛈️🌨️..Thanks again for a great video..Loving the H160..
Thanks for the info, I'm happy you liked the video!
Thanks very much for the great video! A question: did you use any of the MSFS assistance options i.e Assisted Tail Rotor and Assisted Cyclic? I suppose not...
Im really not a fan of rotary winged planes but this one looks beautifull. Is it easier to fly due to the FBW-System?? I dont have pedals and only use the Joystick z-axis for turns which makes it nearly impossible to hover with normal helicopters without oversteering in any direction. I dont want to use the tail rotor help, either I can fly it or I can not😅😅 Is this helicopter equiped with an auto tail rotor?
How comfortable would you be if they sat you down in a real helicopter with passengers and asked you to fly them around? You seem to know your way around them,
Zero, not comfortable at all. I would not do it.
Even if I'd master all helis in any desktop flight sim there is, I'd still not dare to fly a real one without an instructor.
I really wish my computer was good enough for msfs, I'm still using fsx, I'd really like to see a failures video with auto rotation landing. That would be a lot of fun to watch
Wish I could do something like that, but I'm afraid my helicopter skills are really not up to it.
I'd suggest to get in touch with helisimmer, he's a helicopter expert.
@@A330Driver I completely understand, and thanks for the recommendation. Can't wait to see your next video
The oil platforms and windparks are default MSFS scenery?
North Sea add on from Aerosoft.
As Peter says
Your i9 9900k is pulling your RTX4090 all the way down!
True that, I just didn't want to replace my entire computer this year when I bought the 4090. Next year a new CPU is coming for sure.
@@A330Driver I had 3070ti and i5 9600k. Recently i upgraded to i5 13600k and MSI Z690 -A Pro massive improvement in smooth experience with no stutters at all in 4k!
Such a classic joke about how ugly helicopters are. Always makes me laugh. 🤣
