It‘s so beautiful that everyone is individual. If all people were all the same, the world would be boring, so respecting is important. People that ar different from oneself is still a human, so one should be respectful to everyone. Thank you for remind us of this! ❤

@@thatbassvoice reminds me of one of the comedy skits that Bill Gather did with the bassist from Signature Sound.

With all due respect GP you are wrong on this one. Diversity is only good if it produces beneficial relationships for both of the people involved. Our culture has weaponized empathy. It self proclaims weakness/oppression and makes it a lure so that their actions and words may go uninterrupted and unchallenged. If you do not outright celebrate their identity and the value or sin connected with it then you are deemed hateful, racist, sexist, or any other ist in order to dehumanize you. Once you are dehumanized they have an excuse to attack you then they will attempt to ostracize you from online, your friends, family, church, school, and even try to get you fired over simply standing up for your differing beliefs. The teachings and values of Jesus Christ are under attack because we do not force our beliefs on them yet they will weaponize sin attached to their identities and attack us for not celebrating them in the name of diversity and tolerance. Words such as diversity, tolerance, and unity are all worthless when the people who use them the most are using them to exercise vengeance with the darkest part of the human psyche possible.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I let the day pass as I gathered my thoughts for this reply. It's important to recognize that conversations around diversity, empathy, and respect for different perspectives can be complex and evoke strong emotions. The essence of my message about embracing diversity and practicing empathy is rooted only in seeking understanding and common ground...which does exist, even amidst our differences.
Diversity, in its truest sense, enriches our communities by bringing a range of experiences, ideas, and cultures into dialogue with each other. It's about appreciating the value each person brings to the table without necessarily agreeing on every point. The goal is to foster environments where constructive conversations can happen and where everyone feels respected and heard.
Empathy doesn't mean condoning actions or beliefs that go against one's own values but trying to understand where others are coming from. It's about recognizing the humanity in each other, even when we disagree. This understanding can be the foundation for beneficial relationships that respect individual boundaries and beliefs.
It's also crucial to acknowledge that no one should face dehumanization or ostracization for their beliefs. True tolerance involves mutual respect that allows for disagreement without resorting to personal attacks or exclusion. That is where we as a society are falling short. In any society, the balance between expressing one's beliefs and respecting those of others is delicate and requires constant dialogue and effort.
The teachings of many faiths, including the values of kindness, love, and understanding that Jesus Christ espoused, encourage us to look beyond our differences and seek the well-being of all. These values challenge us to engage with the world compassionately, even as we stand firm in our beliefs.
Let's strive for a world where diversity and empathy lead not to division but to a deeper appreciation of our shared humanity. Where dialog, respect, and mutual understanding bridge the gaps that divide us. Your concerns remind us of the work still needed to achieve this ideal, and I thank you for contributing to this ongoing conversation. 👊🏾

Identity politics assumes that past atrocities against race, sex, or other designations must be the reason for present day discrepancies that they perceive. Any resistance to the assumption, the perception, or any other explanation for the discrepancy is seen as an attack on their identity. They use this as self justification for their assumption of righteous wrath against those who oppress them. Simply for not outright agreeing and celebrating their identity that may have a value, vice, or sin attached you will be dehumanized and attacked in the name of tolerance and diversity. This is just a paint job of the Communist haves/have nots to the oppressed/oppressors.
