I’ve made a few ghosts over the past few weeks from various patterns and this is the best one by far. Thank you
You're welcome! I'm beyond thrilled that you enjoyed it so much. Happy crocheting!
This was great, easy to follow. My brother gave me some glow in the dark wool ( yarn) so, naturally, I had to make a ghost!
That is awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it 😀 I wish my brothers gave me yarn lol
You are such a good teacher. I want to put all my WIPs to the side and start making ghosts!
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video 😀
This has got to be the best tutorial I have ever followed, and I have been crocheting for over 30 years. Thank you for a great patter. New subbie!
Thank you so much! I am so thrilled that you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching and subscribing 😀❤
I enjoy listening to your tutorials. You do a great job explaining the process and explaining why you do things a certain way. This method really helps me remember things.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you sharing that and I’m beyond thrilled that you find it helpful ☺️❤️
Agreed! It's so hard finding people that slow down and explain and show exactly what's happening!
Thank you so very much for the way you presented this ghost. You were slow, you explained each step so precisely. You are awesome!!!!
You are so welcome! I’m so glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching 😁
These are just too cute. Attaching them to the corners of a Halloween baby blanket.
Thank you ☺️. That sounds like a super fun blanket!
Amazing! After I watched a couple of videos step by step, this is my favourite! Brilliant!, Thank you. I have now subscribed!! Lesley xx
I'm so happy you enjoyed it so much! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! I appreciated it 😀❤

Thank you so much for including the yardage amounts of the yarn for both ghosties. They are so cute.☺️🧡🎃
You're welcome 😀
What excellent instruction!! Thank you for taking the time to do it for us!
Thank you so much! I'm so happy you enjoyed it 😀 Thanks for watching
This is adorable! Thank you so much! I can't wait to ghost them to my friends.
Thank YOU so much and I'm so glad you like them! I have another no-sew pattern and tutorial coming out very soon 😉
I’m going use this to teach a 8yr old how to crochet because your instructions are so wonderfully clear! One question, I think I should start with the large size because it’s easier to see the stitches, but I’d love your opinion. Thank you again for a wonderful video!!❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I personally start my young students off with a worsted or bulky weight, smooth yarn as many children (and some adults) struggle to actually see the stitches with blanket yarn. I taught a couple of girls this summer (7 and 12) and they fared better with smooth yarns. A smooth super bulky weight like Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick would be a good substitute if you really wanted to start them off with the bigger version. I hope this helps
Thanks good explanation I enjoyed your tutorial
You’re welcome ☺️ I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching
I love these! I made two for my boys and they love them. Thank you 😊

Hi :)love your pattern, it's so easy for me to follow since im new to crochet. Im thinking of making ghosts in several colors to sell for Halloween, can i ask your opinion on a decent price?
I'm so glad you enjoyed it 😀
I can't give you an exact price because pricing is subjective to your costs and labour, etc. Here is the formula I used when I sold items:
Cost of your supplies + labour + overhead (i.e. business expenses) = Total Costs
Total Costs x Markup % (I used to use 55%) = Wholesale Price
Wholesale Price x 2 = Retail Price
I hope this helps.
Thank you much for this pattern…. Mint ghost is adorable…. Hoping to get a printed pattern…..
You’re welcome ☺️ the printable version is available in my Ravelry and Etsy shops (linked in the description below the video).
@@TheLoopyLamb I bought it….. thanx again…. I know exactly who is going to enjoy this…. If I use Red Heart Super Saver, will that work for the mini??
Thanks so much for your support! It means a lot! Red heart super saver will definitely work for the mini version ☺️
I just subscribed, thank you for a great tutorial
You're welcome and thank you for subscribing! 😀❤
Thanks for such a comprehensive video! I learned so much!!
Only thing that was confusing to me was when you say "single crochet increase" . Maybe you can say just increase since we are working on only single crochet basis?
You’re welcome. Thanks for your feedback. I use single crochet increase for clarity as some people find it confusing when I just say increase.
Great Job understand everything ty
Thank you so much!
I made ghost that was fine but struggled with hat.
I ended up with more stitches than what you said at end of row 4.
I tried about 5 tines following your instructions but still ended up with extra stitches.
I did use stitch markers.
I will have to find alternative video
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with round 4. I’ve double-checked the instructions for round 4 and the previous rounds, and they are correct. If there was an error in the stitch count your earlier rows, it could affect the stitch count in round 4. If you need further assistance, please let me know how many stitches you end up with at the end of round 4, and I’ll do my best to help you out.
Same here. Having trouble with round three on the hat. More stitches than what you had said on the video
Sorry round 4
@@wendybaker9534how many stitches are you getting? As I mention above, the instructions and stitch count have been checked and are accurate so I need to know how many stitches you are getting in order to try to help ☺️
Absolutely🎉
❤❤ adorable
Thank you ☺️❤️
Adorable
Thank you ☺️
Très joli modèle ! Par contre , il serait hien d indiquer à l écran le descriptif des rangs 😊
Can you please do a no sew Tutorial making the Ghostface Scream doll, my daughter asked me if I could make it for a friend of hers and I'm not finding a tutorial for this. Thank you!
Unfortunately, I can't do a tutorial for someone else's crochet pattern, without their consent as it violates their copyright. Perhaps if you contact the designer of the pattern and request a video tutorial, they may create one, if there is enough demand for one. Sorry I couldn't be of more help
Ty ❤
you're welcome :-)

Combien faut-il avoir de maille à l issue du rang 17 ? Merci

Multumesc! :)🤗
you're welcome :-)
I've been trying to make this ghost for days, then saw after row 7 moving into row 8, Your ghost has been flipped. Did u turn it inside out? I don't understand how you flipped from crocheting towards the right now crocheting to the left.?!?!
Never mind, I figured it out. For all the newbies like me, after row 7, turn your ghost inside out. 🤦♀️Idk, maybe I'm the only one who didn't know to do that.🤷♀️
Hey there,
Just to clarify, the direction of my crochet doesn’t change, but the fabric can start to cup outward, which might make it look like it flipped. The right side of the fabric is always facing the camera. In amigurumi, the right side of the fabric should always face you, and that’s how I keep it throughout the video.
I talk a bit more about the right side vs. wrong side when we put the safety eyes in around 18:11, which might help. Crocheting is all about persistence and creativity-every project is a learning experience, and you’re on the right path! Happy crocheting!
If you skip the arm stitches how do you still have 24 stitches in the round?
Bc you are pushing the arms to the right side of the fabric and single crochet in the next stitch. The arms are created using chains and their stitches arent part of the 24 stitches of the main body. You SC in the first stitch, skip the arm, SC 11 STs, SK the next arm and SC in remaining 12 STs. 1+11+12=24
Approximate height of mini ghost including hat?
3.5” tall when crocheted to gauge. Gauge information can be found in the free written version of the pattern
Why is mine not as deep as yours ?(as in is quite flat ?
I'm not entirely sure what you mean, so I need some more info to make sure I can help you out. Are you referring to the ghost or the hat? Also, are you using the same hook size and yarn as I did in the video? Those details can make a big difference in how the final piece turns out. Let me know so I can assist you better.
Hate tension I can't get it at all I can't do it and giving up
I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling with tension. I wish there was something I could do to help but it gets better with practice
Would have been nice if you wrote pattern on screen as you go along. Cant always understand what you did at each row.
@@wnygrl585 unfortunately, some folks find it distracting to have it on screen. The written pattern is available to view for free on my blog if you can read patterns ☺️
when i go to round 17 i cant find round 15 on the inside of the ghost what am i doing wrong?
@@reginapuckett347 it could be the type of yarn you are using, making it hard to see the stitches or if your stitches ate super tight, it may cause your back loops to be harder to see. If you pull your work back to round 15, you could weave a piece of yarn through the blo of that round which could help you see it when you need to work into it. You’d just need to be careful to make sure you don’t work over the scrap yarn when you do round 16 so you can pull it out afterwards. You could also use removable stitch markers.
@@TheLoopyLamb i mean the back loops aren't there for me to use
@@reginapuckett347 if they aren’t there at all then it sounds like you aren’t working in the front loops only as instructed in the previous round..m if you are, then it is likely due to the hinges I mentioned in my previous comment

white on white is not the best 🤔
Which is why I didn’t use white
Worth repeating… using white yarn against a white background is a poor choice…darker yarn or darker background would be better
I didn’t use white yarn. Big you’re having a hard time seeing, perhaps try adjusting the brightness on your screen
Yarn is not white. But still too light.
