For the embryo to implant on the wall of the uterus it develops something called syncytiotrophoblast, this helps it to attach to the uterine wall. I described the syncytiotrophoblast as finger-like projection inorder to make the explanation simple.

Im 99.9% sure had implanation bleeding 9dpo. But im not 100%. I was feeling dull short cramps, and a constant pressure on my left uterus/groin area, then i bled only for half the day small amount of light brown with a small tinge of pink once too, im now 12dpo still getting negative results, but im still waiting patiently!! Ive had pcos since diagnosed at around 12 and only had a period a hand full of times and ive never ovulated until this time from change in diet and excersize taking temp from bbt. I hope im not going crazy but this tww is killing me.

@lay6603 wasn't implanation bleeding I guess, probably just whacky hormones, since I never actually experienced ovulation I didn't know those are also all ovulation symptoms 😖

The day after I got off my period I had sex and then the next day I had sex I’ve been spotting (brown blood) for 8 days had light cramps one day I thought maybe I restarted my period or my bf tore something had no other problems it don’t it’s it don’t burn it don’t smell I’m really scared bc I don’t want to be pregnant but I don’t know if I should go to the doctor some days it seem like the spotting stops but then it just start again I’m just so confused and scared

Hi ma when I was pregnant I never knew I was even pregnant, I thought it was my menstruation and I was bleeding not too much another days it will come out and skip for another week or two to 3 days it will still come out and it lead to miscarriage . By then I was doing the test it was showing me positive I did it 2 times positive but I was still bleeding I went to the hospital the doctor did the test it was negative how come I’m doing the test is showing positive and you saying negative I even show her my test I did . I went to work no blood was flowing in 5hrs the baby came out it was formed already. This is my first pregnancy and experience. Up to now I don’t know what caused it

Wow this is really what I need to know cos I’ve experienced this implantation bleeding before and I thought it was my period very light and pinky later on i fell sick did a pt it came out negative so I started taking typhoid and anti malaria medicine that made me loose my preggy at 5weeks. Maybe it was your period, these bloods are not the same, implantation is light and period is heavy.

Can you help me because I had sex with my boyfriend on Sunday night then on Monday I got on period but it was not as my normal period it happened Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday then afternoon on Wednesday it's stopped until night then on Thursday morning there was a little bit of blood then on the afternoon it's stopped again then since there I experienced pain on my belly on the left side then I tested is negative

It's different for everyone. It depends on your cycle length. Start documenting/recording the first day of your periods every month for about 3 - 6 months. This will help you calculate your cycle length
