I have made this several times since I 1st saw this video, Emmy. It always brightens my week. I take the leftovers to work for lunch. I prefer to make it with brown rice cooked in extra water so it becomes soft and it's sticky when it cools.

Hey Emmy just letting you know that sushi actually doesn't have to be raw ingredients it's more about the vingaered rice sushi can totally be hot in fact actually a lot of chains in Japan serve mayo and bacon sushi
Thank you. Hi Emmy! I'm from Guam and we make baked sushi a lot here and I was so surprised that you made sushi bake! I really really love SUSHI BAKE. Thank you so much for making this video!!!
It's so good!! Where I used to work, our rehab aide would always bring this our work potlucks. That was the first time I tried it. I've eaten much more of it since then lol :)
She actually had a separate page for Emmy made focused on crafts and such, but I think they're all coming together under that name to avoid having to keep explaining she's not Japanese lol
It does look DELISH, and indeed avocado sounds like a must after baking tho. I don't care for warm avocados. My only problem would be that makes so much and I dont knw if my husband would eat it, nor would I want to buy that much fish roe cause I'd never use it. I would love to try that bake for sure, but will need to adjust amount. Thanks for sharing.
Ive never bought tobiko either as I'd be the only one eating it. I wonder if I froze it in small single use size it would be okay? My closest Asian market has 4 flavors! Squid ink/wasabi/chili/regular. I was thinking it would be good on bagel with creamcheese and krabstick
I wish we could get masago here where I live. I would also like mentaiko. But we're so far from anything that it will never happen. I bet mentaiko would be good in that sushi bake, especially if you'd like to spice it up a bit.
hmmm, i wonder if one could either cook the rice in the tin a bit so that you get a nice crust on the bottom like some Korean rice bowls, or line the tin first with nori. Or both lol. Can imagine lovely fresh prawns and scallops on top.
I just made this with my sister and oh my gosh Emmy, It was soooo good! We added salmon to it as well and it turned out great. Thanks for sharing this recipe!! I'm salivating as I'm thinking about it right now LOL.

This makes me think of the onigiri bowl I made recently when I didn't have time to form onigiri, so I took my fresh sushi rice, tuna mayo mixture, and furikake and just ate it out of a bowl. Yum.
Hello 👋 how are you doing
I love this recipe.. thank you 😊 Emmy !!
Emmy, a chef so legendary even Gordon Ramsay doesn't dare to question her
Very true
@otakurocks A Scottish dude at that!
First, she is not a chef and admits to that. Second, most of her recipes are from other people, the internet, and books, etc. She is not legendary, as you claim, and Gordon would question her given the chance.

@otakurocks He has more knowledge about food in one of his little fingers than you do in your whole body. At least both Emmy and Gordon have done something with their lives. What have you accomplished in your life?

Hi Emmy! I'm from Guam and we make baked sushi a lot here and I was so surprised that you made sushi bake! I really really love SUSHI BAKE. Thank you so much for making this video!!!
I've heard of people eating sushi while baked, but not baked sushi. 😁
Lmao
😂😂😂😂
LMAO
Puff puff💨 ⚡👉🏾👉🏾
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
It's so good!! Where I used to work, our rehab aide would always bring this our work potlucks. That was the first time I tried it. I've eaten much more of it since then lol :)
so emmymadeinjapan is now branded *emmymade* !
makes more sense.. totally thought you were made in japan lol 🇯🇵🏯👀
Me too haha
I was like whoaaaah she is not Japanese??
@@Philipp19967 Emmy's parents didn't make her in Japan, no >:P
She actually had a separate page for Emmy made focused on crafts and such, but I think they're all coming together under that name to avoid having to keep explaining she's not Japanese lol
Thanks for sharing Emmy! Looked super yummy! Much love from Montana. ✨💖✨
Yes, I would definitely put the avocado on after baking. 👍🏼
I never tried savoury avocado until I was 20, I always thought avocado was for dessert (with condensed milk) 🤭
@@emmymade I would love to know some other recipes using tobiko! I love it but don't buy it because I wouldn't know what to use it in. 🤔
@@darlingblue I never knew avocado was for dessert until I saw a co-worker from Brazil add sugar and lemon. It blew my mind!
You mentioning philippines making me giddy! A big fan of yours emmy! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 you always entertain me 🧡
Emmy: changes are coming..
Me: 😳😳😳
2020 has me scared
Same
I made this today, added baby shrimp, salmon, and lump crabmeat. OMG, it's so delicious. And having the nori still crunchy is wonderful.
Funny that every video about cooking rice, my mind always goes back to the thoughts of "finger, you cook rice you use finger."
Love your videos ❤
I wish we could get masago here where I live. I would also like mentaiko. But we're so far from anything that it will never happen. I bet mentaiko would be good in that sushi bake, especially if you'd like to spice it up a bit.
hmmm, i wonder if one could either cook the rice in the tin a bit so that you get a nice crust on the bottom like some Korean rice bowls, or line the tin first with nori. Or both lol. Can imagine lovely fresh prawns and scallops on top.
Make it your own. 👍🏼
I just made this with my sister and oh my gosh Emmy, It was soooo good! We added salmon to it as well and it turned out great. Thanks for sharing this recipe!! I'm salivating as I'm thinking about it right now LOL.
Hello 👋 how are you doing today
Omg this sushi bake looks really good! Waiting for Emmy to open a restaurant one day with all her amazing creations 😋
She creates nothing, just uses recipes from other sources.

Love you and your channel Emmy!
After sushi bake, everyone’s trying other things like shawarma bake, samgyupsal bake, and nacho bake here in the PH. I’ve only tried sushi bake though and it’s actually good. 😊
Ohhh. I could fuck with a nacho bake. And sauce it at the end. Shwarma and Samgyusal too. But having read it, I now C R A V E nacho bake.
slumberzombie yeah it’s like a deconstructed shawarma in a bed of rice then baked 😅 just saw photos of it and people raving about it.
RealBriGang you should give it a try!! 🤤
No one cares.
Hello 👋 how are you doing today
This looks so super good, I am going to make it tonight with salmon instead of crab, hope it turns out as beautifully as yours. Thanks for the inspiration!!
So happy you made this emmy because I'm honestly hesitant to order sushi bake. (I'm from the Philippines) 💜 i was like " i need a food expert to try that recipe. " then finally you made it, so I'll be sure to buy one now 😬😘
I’m making this tonight for my dinner. The only thing I couldn’t find was the tobiko. I will definitely miss it but I’m going for it anyway. Thanks Emmy; love your channel!
Mhm I remember going to someone’s house a while and loving it but I didn’t remember what it was called and this just triggered the memory, I can’t wait to try making this 🤤
This looks like a great meal for winter...Such a great idea
Everytime Emmy says “have you ever heard of such a thing?” An angel gets her wings...
🥰
You are totally awesome!! Thanks Emmy!!
Yummy delicious Emmy
I have been making this for over 20 yrs with dungeons crabs it’s tedious but worth it! It’s nice to see various recipes and substitutes!
I think this is the earliest I've ever been
thank you so much for this recipe! ❤️
Emmy is like my aunty that is too bored at home so she cooks the weirdest but most fun things
Endless Cooking Hmmm . You may have nailed why I do that, too. Fear of boredom. I never thought of it that way!
Love your hair! It is so cute- fits you, Emmy!
I was gonna ask when we get to see Wee and Tee in the new kitchen then remembered that we’re in a pandemic 😓 hope he’s doing well and isn’t getting too overworked! 💜
