The main point to highlight is that he has travelled many many countries and has vast experience of countries and their public and also he has gained confidence of travelling to strange places rather strange countries but not everyone can gain so much of guts especially new travellers if i would have been there i would have stopped travelling from that day and come back to india may be forever or for very long time.

Middle East is definitely not a place to hitchhike. I remember I was in Amman a few years back, I asked the guy to give me a lift till the highway, which was hardly a few kilometres away, he asked for about a 1000 rupees. I got mad at him and he threatened me that if I dont pay him, he would beat me up. I tried contacting the Embassy and the officials were there and the police also came in, and arrested the guy

I've experienced these kind of things a lot in my life. And I would stare them like I'd kill them even though being a kid. Though i'm gay person myself, I did not like those things. People should not think those who do these things should be equated to all gay guys around the world and desperate to have such moments. It's just not right.
