Ah, yes, classic KLM. I've flown with them a number of times. They're not the best airline by any means, but they're generally efficient, punctual and pleasant enough. I will fly with them next year to San Francisco and back.
KLM 606 RNAV TYEDYE cleared for take off runway 1 Right. Great video. Big thumbs up to showing whether overhead panel showing personnel air vents or not. most people who do flight reviews do not think that is important but for a lot of people it is. we like the air blowing us to help the air around or face circulate and keep us cool. Question: i read somewhere on a comments section that (depending on the airline) if you ask the flight attendant on a 787 they will unlock your window so you can look out? anyone know if this works on KLM? my wife and i always give the flight crews a big bag of taffey when we board so maybe they will. LOL
In mid July of 2023, I flew KLM, Boeing 787-9 (I flew on PH-BHL) from Kuala Lumpur to Manila on the 5th freedom flight for the 1st time, flight is 90% full, flight is okay, 3 and a half hours, the crew are nice and friendly, the seat, legroom and in flight entertainment is good and awesome, the best, except my seat 43G is almost broke when I recline, but I decided not to recline and sadly I didn't notified the flight attendant about my broken seat. My seat 43G on PH-BHL needs to be fix. This is my 1st time that my seat 43G is almost broken when I fly a new airline and aircraft type and I am a little disappointed that it's my 1st time flying KLM, my seat 43G is almost broken and it wasn't fix before or after my flight in mid July. I wish they have air vent and external camera.
Is that your 1st time flying the Boeing 787-10, the actual longer variant on KLM and departing on runway 1R in San Francisco on widebody international flights (not including widebody domestic flight)?
What date did you film, is your flight to Amsterdam 75% full, do you remember how much you pay to fly KLM from San Francisco to Nice via Amsterdam, is the luggage policy a little strict, what's the limit, does it include seat selection, how's security in Amsterdam and passport control for entering and visiting Nice, did you enjoy your trip?
@kevin19358 the flight was in summer 2024. Luggage policy was ok with 2 checkin bags allowed. Don’t remember the limit. Seat selection was free. We didn’t have to go through security in Amsterdam but had to enter passport control which took 1 hour. There was no passport control in nice. It was a great trip thanks 🙏
They have a snack galley in the tail, you can basically get whatever you like. They have Dutch Stroopwafels, chocolat, cola, thea, coffee etc. So plenty to survive an 11 hour flight.
Not sure where I was complaining about economy in this video? The food however was below-par. I have eaten far better food in other economy reviews in different airlines! The food in this flight was really poor quality.
Nice video! Taking this flight in December!
@@jpacuriel thanks 🙏
Have a nice trip

@@Bunnyroo7 yeah I flew KLM 777 a long time ago and it was decent
1:50 1 engine taxi?
Yes it is possible, but not sure.
Saves fuel.

In this flight, they darkened all the windows, but then allowed individuals to brighten it. So it was not "forced" but recommended.

Yes it was my first time on the 787-10. First time on Runway 1R.
I see.

I see, wow that's expensive. Nice. Really, is it short staff or too crowded for passport control? I see. My pleasure.
@@kevin19358
It was expensive because of summer peak season.
Passport control was short staffed on that day
I see. What, really? No way. Wow. Hope your patient and made it to your connecting flight.
Yeah it was fine, I had 6 hours time.
do they served mid flight snack and do they had snack in the galley
There was no mid flight snack
I didn’t go the galley because I wasn’t hungry to be honest

@@sanmateoflightsThere is a mid flight snack. I think you did not notice but crew comes along with snacks.
Clearly landing on the Polderbaan. That means 15 minutes extra to the gate.
