Any university that allows any students to feel unsafe should not receive any federal funding or tax breaks.

Are these universities the exceptions or are there more unis that support Hamas in the U.S? I know that Columbia for example has a partner program with Tel Aviv University in Israel and they actually worked closely together with Columbia university. I know unis here in Europe that have no partner unis in Israel AT ALL, for example Lund University in Sweden. I am asking because to me its not quite clear yet if these students and unis are the exception or if this is a trend across the whole U.S? I actually wanted to study in the USA but now I am thinking twice because the education at these universities cant be that great if there is so much anger going on.

The problem is that they are receiving boatloads of money from Arab countries - Qatar alone has funded Columbia, and other so-called elite universities to the tune of >$5B since 2001. Brown University received over $11M in funding over time from the palestinian territories (college foreign gift and contract report). I would be making an appointment with my lawyer about a law suit against Columbia. Schools talk about safety and Jewish students are being denied that.

Why is hate speech not free speech? All speech should be free. However, threats, harassment, violence, trespassing, and rioting should be condemned to the full extent of the law. There should be immediate consequences for these university administrators because of their complicity in these pro hamasholes actions.

Well technically the protests are about the genocide level killings of Palestinians in Gaza; however, this has pushed to the side, especially by right wing politicians and media, since it doesn't reflect well on US support of Israel. Section 117 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA) requires institutions of higher education that receive Federal financial assistance to disclose semiannually to the U.S. Department of Education any gifts received from and contracts with a foreign source that, alone or combined, are valued at $250,000 or more in a calendar year. Class Action Lawsuit at Columbia U. brought by Jewish students who saw and experienced what you mentioned, and filmed it, (proof). UCLA, also has film of the same kinds of incidents taken by a student who was blocked from class because he was Jewish, even after showing his ID to the people blocking his progress and to the campus cop standing right there. I saw this film. It's clear proof, and it's online. They should sue for the lost class time that their tuition paid for, for the distress this caused and for the administration and teachers encouraging the protesting students and NOT protecting the Jewish students, but suggesting campus was unsafe for them and they should go home and finish the semester online. With multiple incidents in photos and online as proof, it'll be very telling if these suits don't win.
Breach of contract? When the University cashes a tuition check that is a contract. The students go to class and follow the rules, the University protects the students and providing the education. The University isn't upholding their end of the deal. Columbia U. got a D grade from the Campus Antisemitism Report Card, they were in litigation and under investigation over this before the current problems, and the president who said she'd fix the problem is nowhere to be seen. If the campus is private property call in the police to clear out the protestors. Anyone arrested who is here as a guest in this country, on a Visa. revoke the Visa, and deport them. Any student breaking the law, behaving violently, expel, not suspend, them. Don't allow masks on campus, and all camera footage taken on campus should be made public record so businesses know who not to hire. Donors should stop giving money(don't worry, the University can get more from Qatar). And Jewish parents stop sending your kids to Ivy League schools that get lower than a C on the antisemitic report card. There are fixes, you just have to implement them.
