I'm kind of an overthinker, and I suffered from anxiety, (as some of you may know, it's impossible to live in the present moment with anxiety) and it sucked 'till I realized I need to let my father in charge of my mind, let him hold my heart instead of trying to control it myself (wich usually ended in disaster). And this is exactly what the Lord is doing in my life, this is all I have been feeling these days.
My friend, if you're feeling anxious or lonely or your head is just a mess, please know you're not alone, Christ is with you, and he knows how you're feeling, he knows how bad it hurts, but he wants you to learn to trust him, he wants you to discover how much he loves you. Be brave in him

Thank you! I am definitely an over thinker who battles with depression and chronic anxiety attacks. My beautiful family of four are grown. So often I missed those moments due to anxiety. I don’t want to miss a single moment with my husband of 27 years or our visits with our children.

I love him so! I was backslidden for a long time. It was a reaction to the pain of my husband molesting my children I was a Christian and it was a reaction to so much pain it wasn't it wasn't a rejection of God it was a reaction to all the pain. He's found me again I found him I Run To Him, I'm never looking back in Jesus name!

But this is not new for me because I have since 2007 avoided my husband Daniel in the same house (I found out that he committed adultery and his abuse against me got worse) and plus a painful physical condition makes walking hurt, so the only places that I have gone to are my doctors appointments. I have NEVER been alone through my abusive marriage because The Lord Jesus HIMSELF has been WITH me and will NEVER leave me alone😊. Since Daniel was arrested in September of 2015 for forgery & theft against me, he claimed YET AGAIN that he “got right with The Lord Again”. I only trust The Lord, but definitely NEVER Daniel again, even now he has been caught in his lies several times, and then he gets angry at me for some reason. I know that The Lord WILL deal with Daniel in HIS own time, and I KNOW that The Lord is NOT to blame for Daniel’s CHOICES, Daniel alone IS RESPONSIBLE, and Daniel WILL give an account to The Lord. wado,ANN BENSON.

Wow...what a timely song for me. I just lost my precious big brother to Covid. Its been an absolute tragic loss the way he passed, with no family holding his hand. But thank God that there were kind strangers that prayed with him before he passed and held his hand for us. His passing brings up the fact that I need to stay with my eyes on heaven. You'll never know how much this song meant to me right now. I have been struggling so hard with feeling like by the time I am able to enjoy doing things with my husband, our life will be pretty much over and it has filled me with so much sadness and also anger. Almost 8 years ago we adopted two of our grandkids that are both special needs because our daughter and her husband had them removed from their home and lost custody. My husband has a significant muscle disease that is progressing pretty fast right now so he is becoming much weaker and he is physically able to do less and less. We have not had a break just to have a "date" for over 8 years now as we live in a small area and as I said, the kids are both have challenges that makes it hard to have someone else care for them. I'm so exhausted and I'm also feeling so old. By the time they are ready to be out on their own we will be almost 68 years old. With my husband's disease progression, what will we be able to do together? How am I going to physically care for him as well as raise challenging kids in the meantime? I LOVE THEM!! They are no longer grandkids, they are our children and I wouldn't want it any other way, but when I heard "Oh Lord, keep me in the moment. Help me live with my eyes wide open 'cause I don't wanna miss what you have for me.... show me what matters. Throw away what I'm chasing after." I just started bawling. Praise God for knowing my heart and knowing what I needed to hear right now. I pray that He fills my heart with what HE sees that matters and the happiness and joy of each day now instead of worrying about the future.

I have been suffering so deeply. It is affecting my life with my family at such a profound level. I have been bound by crippling anxiety for the majority of my life. Since Covid, I have all but completely stopped living. I had Covid Oct. 2020, was extremely blessed to recover with no major issues 🙏🏼 It was scary, but God got me through it. I fear getting it again, I fear my kids getting it when they start school in a few days. They will be in 7th and 10th grade. My husband is a grocery manager. Most days I struggle to leave my house... I am grasping at everything I can reach just to get through every day. Sleep is a welcome escape.
I heard this song today. At first I wasn't REALLY listening. I know the song.. but I was just singing the words... as we do. Then it grabbed me. I have to do this, for my kids. I don't know what's going to happen... but they need me to be present, and I'm not here even when I'm here.

I heard this song on the radio and I came back to it because being a young person in this world is hard sometimes. And I felt like I was chasing after so many things about my future and not focusing on the now. This might sound silly but I just started watching stranger things and I want to meet millie bobby brown by going to stranger con. It was a bit expensive but I was going to use my Christmas money for it. Then I realized I was chasing after too many things and focusing on many other things when I should take time to be in the moment. God told me to listen to this song and that I should wait to tell this pandemic is over to get tickets so my parents won't worry about it even though it is next summer. Now I realize what God was saying and I will wait till 2022 when things are better and more stable. Thank you for reading this God bless you and your family.
I think it is Wonderful you are young and already have a strong relationship with God. Already trying to live in the moment. It is odd I seen you post. My husband and I wasted our twenties and part of our thirties before we truly had a relationship with God. We both were so stuck in worldly things.

I remember when my sister and I were younger I rarely spent time with her because I had cancer. Sometimes I wish I could go back and change that. But then I see pictures of us and then I remember the times I did get to spend with her and it makes me cry because we need to cherish the moments we have with each other. Just enjoyed a FANTASTIC show in Hollidaysburg on Thursday Nov. 30... we were ALL the was front right against the speakers my 9 year old sons first concert (FAVORITE ARTIST too, he was glowing all night) We got home and William said " MOM HE POINTED AT ME AND SMILED!!!!" He has been giddy and just on cloud 9 for days now, he brought a BALL of confetti home.. This song has so much packed into it just life in general along with my 9 year old I also have a 22 year old and soon to be 20 year old and it went by SOO fast I feel like I missed it and for a lot of it I was a stay home mom.. Thank you for making my 9 year olds night and for your testimony... and sharing all you did over covid it was a joy.
