Yes!! And even when they were at gluttony, they mention that there's no way he's alive or something, so we just assume from then on that they'll all be dead 😅

Stallone would've been too old to play Mills in '95, but he played an intense cop in the Mills mold in "Nighthawks (1981)," a great overlooked thriller (came out the same weekend as several other movies, including "Excalibur" and "The Howling" and got lost in the shuffle). Yeah, several late '80s and '90s film directors began in music videos, which is one reason why music videos became less creative and more about pimping movies through soundtracks and merely showing hair bands playing their instruments during concerts, starting around late '86 as I recall (Yeah, I'm old.)
Stallone turning down this role was the main reason he chose to do Copland which was released 2 years later. and Denzel did the movie Fallen in 1998 which was like a supernatural version of Se7en. So you can really see how turning Se7en down made them rethink their choices for accepting roles.
You should watch Fallen. It's Denzel Washington's best film, in my opinion. It also has John Goodman, James Gandolfini, Donald Sutherland, and Elias Koteas. It also has a unique plot with a surprise ending.

Merry Christmas to you.
Completely understandable, and it's very appreciated that you still popped in! Happy New Year!
@@VerowakReacts I love it when reactors respond to my comments. Not all of them do.
@@ronfehr7899 I try my best :D I'm more likely to respond to comments that are positive than the negative ones, and you're always positive!!
Classic thriller!
The ending of the story is gut wrenching no matter how many times i've watched it. Still makes me cry.
Hey Verowak, I hope you had a good christmas. Love your content and hope you have a great 2024.
Thank you!! I did, I hope you had good Holidays, and happy New Year!
Man, what a dark way to close out a year.
I enjoy dark movies, so it's perfect for me lol
If you want more Seven . Check out True Detective and Mindhunters.....also a videogame you might want to look into is Disco Elysium.
@@chaddubois8164First season True Detective was some peak story telling. And I was disappointed that Mindhunter didn’t get any more seasons.
Party on my reaction friend.
@@chaddubois8164 True Detective is on my list, but I'm not familiar with Mindhunters, aside from it being a thriller/detective type I'm assuming lol
This movie is insane.
Heh, you saying David Mills isn't dead made me realize, he's not _physically_ dead. Child, wife, career, his freedom... his life's over.
Wow, you haven't seen anything with Stallone? Lots of good movies there.
Yeah he's technically alive and breathing but he is just a shell
John Doe was right. People would study his work. Even during my apprenticeship in media education, we talked about this film (color grading).
You really got invested in this film.
I've never been this early to anything in my life.
I feel special!! 🤩 Happy New Year!
@@VerowakReacts You as well. Best of luck in 2024!
Ernest Hemingway said... It would have killed you to leave that very short, important part in?
I can't keep every scene that everyone likes :)
There are so many good Denzel performances to react to. I’m sure you’ll have fun with just about any of them. An underrated favorite of mine is “Deja Vu.” I haven’t seen very many RUclips reactors who have added that one yet. You could be one of the few! 😉
The title has me intrigued already! So many possibilities for storyline and I bet I'll love it
I remember when I was a teen in the 90s that Libraries were bustling with people. Learning, studying and such. Now they are empty and void. It's sad imo.
