Great video as always! I appreciate you taking the time to put it up! One question how was the progress on the 844 coming? You said she was going to be propane fired? Or oil fired?
Work is coming along good. The trailing truck should be completed within a few weeks and we will start work right away on that installment once we get the updated footage from Jason.

What are the poles for that he kept hitting
The signal system.
Yep, manual signals. The green one captures the block and makes the opposing signal red, and drops yours to yellow, then at the end of the block, you hit the yellow one which releases your block. Works pretty slick really. Two 3 pole relays a couple of switches (there's all kinds of ways to activate them) and whatever kinds of signals you want to run.
They came up with a very good people proof switch stand.. everybody whacks the crap out of the signal post especially hitting it at speed, so what they came up with was a swinging magnet that moves past a pair of NO reed switches... so no matter which way you rock it, it trips the circuit. Very ingenious design.
