Civil Air Patrol does encampments on the state level. Most wings ordinarily do a summer encampment (either on their own or jointly with other wings), and some hold encampment in the winter. Several were cancelled this summer because of COVID-19, so some cadets will need to wait a little longer to attend. Your wing's website should have information about it if you want to know more about your encampment specifically.

@@anthonyfranson5155 They probably do not, especially since the number of ribbons everyone has is different. I recommend talking to your flight staff once your flight starts to get settled in the barracks.
If the sleeves are too tight while rolled, that means the blouse is likely a little bit small. The blouse being tight around the shoulders or elbow area when rolled does not have a specific fix besides trying to loosen the roll or trying a size up. My recommendation is to try one size larger, and you could try the short version, depending on how sleeve length is.
I haven't heard anything yet in regard to wearing OCPs. Since the BDU uniform just phased out (a few days ago), it's possible that OCP is on the table. Since I haven't heard anything, I can't give a definitive answer, so we shall see!
The Civil Air Patrol Air Force Auxiliary is authorized to ware previous uniforms that the Air Force no longer has in service to distinguish us between the actual Air Force. That's why the BDU was replaced by the ABU . Even if you were wareing Blue Patches from a distance you would be confused for an actual member of the Air Force and we still are by ignorant people who don't know the difference between us than there's idiots in the military who don't like us wareing there uniform who start jacking with us . So be glad you get to ware what you have. You'll get to ware OCP in the future it might take awhile the BDU served for 30 years. So i wouldn't worry about it and be happy with what you have.

The Civil Air Patrol holds 2 Encampments per year a winter & summer encampment kind of like the military conducts winter & summer boot camps.
