The best thing about this pizza is the amount of time you baked it…it’s just how I love my pizzas coming out of the oven, yummy. As it happens, my late grandfather’s (Papa Sal Marino) pizza closely resembles the Buddy’s Cheese Pizza. Papa Sal had a famous pizza shop in Italy that I frequented as a young lad. The cheese pizza he cooked up was exceptional. Bloody brilliant (and delicious) memories. Thankfully, Papa Sal’s cheese pizza recipe was passed down to my father, whose name funnily enough is Vito. [😅] The next time Lisa and I visit the States (she is from Ohio), we will certainly be trying Buddy’s Cheese Pizza [for] that taste of home. 100% with Kevin. These were on sale at jewels osco a few weeks ago so I picked up a sausage one. The sauce was bland and the pizza itself had very little flavor. If you have it in your area I'd highly recommend trying Rosati's!
Kevin’s comment about your having an asbestos mouth made me laugh! My mom always says the same about me… and I just think I’m eating things at a normal temp. What do I know?! Bummer you don’t taste 1 cheese let alone 5! Appreciate your trying this… now I know to skip it!

I like my pizza just like you. My pizza place knows me so when I order I always say thin & crispy and burn it. They know what I mean, dark brown and crisp crust. The other pizza with the good tasting cheese was the one with Brick cheese not Mozzarella and that is why the cheese stood out so well. Most Italians would poo poo Brick cheese on a pizza but I say "what the hell" if you like another cheese on your pizza go for it. When I go to Vito & Nick's I order either a double sausage with pepperoni and sometimes a supreme and sometimes a Italian beef with hot peppers pizza.

It's odd how it lacked a cheese flavor.
I wish you guys would revisit Home Run Inn Pizza (without microwaving).
