Only one but very important thing here about the piston wearing to the cylinder: it wears out the MOST on the intake side but when it’s overheated it MELTS on the exhaust side. Tinker, have you ever looked closely at a 2T piston, because you’ll notice that it’s got little pegs in the ring groove at certain places on the intake side to keep the ends of the ring(s) from rotating around and then snagging on your exhaust port. Unfortunately THOSE are 2 very important differences on a very simple yet delicate engine. Check it out.
