You began moving the moment the music started. You smiled as soon as you saw the children. You laughed out loud during the video. Who would argue: this is musical genius. It is a simple formula. While the instrumentation is creative (and perhaps whimsical), it couldn't be simpler. The lyrics are everyday rap (though well done). Not the first to add kids' choruses. But it's not about a formula. It's about MUSIC MAKING YOU MOVE. It is hypnotic, it is captivating. A matter of taste, perhaps, but he's a cute kid. The children are cute, and the video is so straightforward it's absolutely artful. Genius is not about being elaborate or complicated. It's about the end game. The song. This is musical genius.

I'm probably well out of the Yungblud age range but at 54, I love this tune. I love how into it the backup singer in the duo in back gets into the song. Wish the rest of those kids were just as animated.

Yes, it reminds me of "Another Brick in the Wall". I don't typically listen to this genre of music. But this song grabbed my attention, and I can't get it out of my head. Anything with kids is cool. I watched Yungblud do a behind the scenes video, and he was having such a great time with the kids. He was so genuinely excited, and it was refreshing.
I'll never have the time back I spent listening to you describe "Lowlife".
I haven't listened to much of his stuff but the first time I did it was like the first week of lockdowns during the pandemic and he threw together a sort of streaming variety show definitely has some interesting ideas and themes running through his work too.

No matter how many times I watch listen to this song there is something in it. Like how the Bassoon is played as the bass and in parts of Singing Low Life it makes the song amazing then the trumpet . How the sax bass drums all mix together is amazing.

Great reaction as usual. It's good to see more reactors finding Yungblud. His style has been so fluid, you could probably take a guess at what bands influenced him. Some of his music is so insightful and meaningful. Polygraph Eyes is a favourite, though he didn't play it on the last gig I went to. So much choice if you were to react to more: Parents, Hope For The Underrated Youth, God Save Me, But Don't Drown Me Out. Life On Mars (at the Bowie Celebration in 2021), I'm With You (with Avril Lavigne on the Yungblud Show). I'm going to have to listen to some now.

I’m not his biggest fan but I give credit where it’s due .. this is a great performance the art of delivery is amazing his duet with the kids and the back and forth interaction between him his beat and them kids is a great mashup.. the play on words is good but the show is spectacular
