FINDING MOOSE SHEDS - PT.1 - Shed Hunting EP:13 Hiking Solo in the Backcountry

Some days you just have luck on your side and this is one I’ll never forget. Picked the right ridge and followed the sign right into the drop zone. If theres one tip I can give on this one, it’s ‘stay in the sign’ and go where the most sign leads you. It sure worked for me here!
It’s just one after another for 3 hours until I fill my pack and can’t fit anymore!! You know it’s been a good day when you have to cut it short because you have no room left on your pack. Will definitely be hitting this ridge again soon so STAY TUNED!

Looks so darn fun! I live in Montana, find lots of elk/deer sheds but not very many moose. Awesome work partner

Thanks friend! I’m the same. More mule deer than anything for me, but I’ve been trying to zero in on some moose sheds and for some reason I really love finding them haha Probably because I’ve never found too many in the past.
