When i saw this video i was blown away! The fact that the effect is so simple yet very creative amazes me. its kinda like a misdirection because when you see the trick, you're not thinking about a fold in the pants, you're thinking about something crazy like theres a hole in his pants or a secret flap that he opens or somehow he just palmed it. MIND BLOWN!!! This effect showed me that not all magic tricks have to be some sort of crazy complex set up that is very hard to perform, they can be perfectly simple and an easy trick. thanks for sharing the effect :)
I think to justify the knee I might throw in the casual patter before I produce it of, "Hmm, is there a table anywhere? Here, I'll just use my leg." It plants the idea that you wanted to use a table, but your knee works too. Just my thoughts, hope it helps somebody!
i love that you teach a trick, relate it to someone else's and give them credit. your humble and you always give free exposure to many other great magicians
This is great because I always wear rings. I just watched the part where you said it doesn't work with rings that are thicker on one side. I'm sad now.
This is absolutely BOSS! 👌🏽 Really really love the visual on the pen vanish/ring or lighter production.. looks so good and totally justifies the use of the leg.. like you're just giving the pen a kick and transforming it into something else. Thanks, again, Chris!
I'm 26 and I just started doing magic about a month ago. Your videos are the best thing I have found. I have learned so much about magic from you. Your philosophy behind magic is what drew me into your channel. I hope we can meet some day.
i have been a fan of ring magic for a long time and have almost every ring trick on the market and i have a ring routine that i perform about 95% percent of the time and i have been looking for a new trick to drop for a long time and for u to upload this incredible trick for free is amazing. Thanks Chris!!
Oh hallelujah I've been waiting for this since he first started doing tutorials. I mean I loved the ring trick with the rubber band where the ring "telepathically" moves, but thank you Chris for listening to people's comments!
Hey chris, thanks so much! My girlfriend knows I love magic and after I saw this video I used this trick to propose to her. She said it made the moment even more magical!
I would use this move with the OSYN gimmick. Making an invisible prediction before the trick starts and then making the prediction appear. Great video!!!
Maaaan. You got me back into magic. I literally have been practicing nonstop the last 3 months, all stuff off of your videos. Especially the card springs. Thanks man!
You are the best magician! Especially on RUclips, you're the best to watch and the best to learn from. Thank you legitimately from my heart you are amazing and I love you!
Lies... he doesn't comment(reply, message, whatever word/phrase you want to use to describing it) on his videos... because he thinks he is better than us all... He's selling out if you guys can't tell still... What with ALL those ads and ALL of those mid break sponsor sessions he does himself like. "Scam School".
I've shortly fallen in love with your channel. The edits, how you shoot it, explain it, and Ofc your humor. You seem like a chill person which makes me like your channel more. Thank you Chris 😄😄
I looked at bobo modern coin magic and I didn't find the secret or any small idea to understand the trick. The creativity behind this trick is just mind blowing
I discovered your channel about 4 days ago, and I rushed your videos... I have seen roughly half of them ! Really interesting stuffs, the way you talk about magic and your personality above all ! I had tried some magic when I was young but I didn't really got into it at first. And by watching several of your tutorials gave me the motivation to get back to it. I think it's the way you make it easy with accurate yet simple explanations. For the moment I already learnt 5 or 6 moves and still working on them several hours a day (cool thing that I'm in vacations) ! I also appreciate the way you try to communicate the importance of reading, and now that I really enjoy my very first steps into cardistry, I think I will buy some books to really get into it more deeply ! I want to thank you for what you do and for the motivation you give to people !
Just want to say that I actyually really appreciate the credit you give to the progression and history of any trick you teach. It shows you really care about magic itself. Not just doing a trick and getting people to give you attention. Thanks man.
Also. I'm thinking of lighting a cigarette with an invisible lighter. Having it smoke somehow and such. And then offering the lighter to them. "Ohhh right you can't see it. Sorry. Here. ....*touches knee*"
loved the video. such a great effect Chris 💪🏻 I would use a pack of gum because whenever someone asks you "do you have some gum?" , you have to generally yank it out of your pocket somewhere. So, using this effect, with prior finger gestures that make it look like you're holding a pack of gum, would make the process of giving gum to a friend, or anyone really, insanely more interesting :)
Wow! Thanks a lot, so cool, and so easy. Literally decided to start cardistry a week ago, already know how to force a card (great for "oooh I predicted your card), control a card to the top, and to spring a deck almost without fail. And you've helped me so much man. Thanks a bunch man!
U truly had me fooled with that intro. I actually didn't even realize u were using ur knee to produce each one. The knee almost became a "table" in my head. Nice working of this technique!
I can't believe I could figure that out ;( (thought it took me a bit)... especially after you saying it's a magician fooler.. I'm proud of myself and well.. it's all thanks to you CHRIS RAMSAY and some other cool magicians (like Brian Brushwood, Jay Sankey, You, TheRussianGenius...) who got me where I am and gave me this much experience... You probably won't even read this comment but if you do, just know that I appreciate all that you've taught me/us What you've taught me is more than sleight of hand, you taught me the principles.. the motivation... the right way to do things.. for the right reasons, thanks a lot! Just so you get an idea of how far you and the other cool magicians got me, Now I don't even have to watch the tutorials anymore, watching the performance is enough
Very clever Chris. This reminds me of a similar trick (sitting down) that uses the knee as a servante in the old Stars of Magic book. I particularly like that your idea brings the concept into the more practical world of Stand-Up as opposed to Sit-Down "lapping".
Hey Chris, Ive been watching your content for a while now and I love your videos, see depression has really struck me in the past year and watching your videos really helped me, fidgeting with my cards also helped me (from your tutorials 😜)
Wow such am amazing trick! As a server in a resturant i kneel down a lot at my tables to make eye contact this would be a great inpromtu trick when joking around with my guests!! Love it. Cant wait for Weds winners announcement. Fingers crossed
yoooooooooooo, I love your videos and your magic. when I first saw your video I was like whooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaa. now thanks to you I now do magic and I LOVE it. I love your tricks and ive been using them and since you got me into magic, now I'm not shy anymore. thank you so much for teaching new tricks. keep up the good work :D
Hi Chris been doing magic and iv learnt how to do David blain sandwich trick and I learnt how to do the waterfall effect from you , anyway just like to say your great keep up the good work
Great trick! You can do the lighter routine like you describe, but when they start realizing there is no lighter you say you covered it in invisibility paint and if they don't believe you you will rub off the paint and show them. Then just rub it on your leg to show them the lighter under the magical paint!
I would produce the lighter because I can base off many magic tricks with the element of fire. Creating a routine about an element is a very strong effect on people, because they are so used to seeing fire. Thanks Chris for the awesome Vid. When i saw the demo i was stumped to be honest thanks again man keep up the good work.
I would carry 2 same objects and put one into my pocket litterally. Then I would tell them I can get that object out of my pocket without reaching in my pocket after the reproduction, I would reverse my pocket but meanwhile i would palm the first object. Cool video Chris Ramsay. Thank you so much!
This trick is best for proposing... You kneel down as you're supposed to, which is expected but then the ring box is empty. That's where the trick comes into play.
Cash!!!! I would go to a store, reach for the invisible cash in my wallet. (With full confidence) then move it to the knee! The same principle for impromptu magic! May brighten the shop keeper's day as well.
I think a good justification for producing an object from your leg is if your standing doing magic and you don't have a table or surface around, you use your leg. And if it's a ring then you go into more ring magic
Justification to go to the knee: "Excuse me I just really kneed a (insert name of object) for my next trick." Love the videos Chris! Always waiting for the day you visit NB!
Hey chris I immediately thought of the old throw an apple to your elbow joint and flex and knock it back out and catch thing that grandpa's do . If you use the crease of the jumper on your bicep it works great ( obviously not with an apple I'm not arnie ) . Great great effect as always bro !! Stay beastly . Peace
Hi chris I have been I to cardistry for a month I have learned the basic tricks like the spring, waterfall, lepal spread, and I am practicing the faro shuffle and tricks that involve it I can do a pretty good giant fan and faro cascade do you have any suggestions to what I should learn next pls answer I would mean a lot
yo chris ramsey you are my insparation my goal one day is to meat you cause i live in toronto i am 11 years old and your are what got me started in magic love you so mush have seen almost all your videos thank you so much !!!
I think this is best as a lose comical appear that is still powerful and unexplainable. Maybe taking a prediction at the beginning of a trick and vanishing it, then just having another copy ready to go in the fake pocket. Or maybe at the beginning of a routine vanishing someone's card as a trick and then making a duplicate appear using this as a closer, that way you end on a light note that's still amazing and it gives the whole routine a sense of closure. As for why you use your knee I don't think you would need a reason as long as it's a stand up environm
Hey Chris I love your performances and teachings! Could you please do more mentalism tutorials? Like guessing a thought of card etc. It's just a suggestion, thanks man you rock.
That's pretty cool. I'm soon gonna 3d print a ring I designed and I wanted to show it to a designer friend. This would make for a great reveal :) Hopefully a plastic ring will hold okay. I think it will.
D'OH!! Forgot to announce the winners!!! I'm so lame... Wednesday for sure!!

Touche!
Best thing I've heared like ever in my life

+J3223 he will find you

AHAHHAHAHAHAHA YEAH
I'm 26 and I just started doing magic about a month ago. Your videos are the best thing I have found. I have learned so much about magic from you. Your philosophy behind magic is what drew me into your channel. I hope we can meet some day.
I might actually use this move to propose one day
i have been a fan of ring magic for a long time and have almost every ring trick on the market and i have a ring routine that i perform about 95% percent of the time and i have been looking for a new trick to drop for a long time and for u to upload this incredible trick for free is amazing. Thanks Chris!!
YES!!! HE FINALLY DID RING MAGIC!!!
I love how all these tricks and card flourishes look. It gives me an amazing feeling when I do it correctly.
The old legends tale states that if you're early, Chris Ramsay will like and reply
+I Am NickyZ done and done
Oh hallelujah I've been waiting for this since he first started doing tutorials. I mean I loved the ring trick with the rubber band where the ring "telepathically" moves, but thank you Chris for listening to people's comments!
Can you teach us the pressure fan? I can not really learn it anywhere else
Hey chris, thanks so much! My girlfriend knows I love magic and after I saw this video I used this trick to propose to her. She said it made the moment even more magical!
I think im going to justify that im hungry and suddenly appear an oreo cookie
amazing concept though
I would use this move with the OSYN gimmick. Making an invisible prediction before the trick starts and then making the prediction appear. Great video!!!
What are your thoughts about the british magician "Dynamo"? I think he is really entertaining and his tricks are fairly good.
I was pretty certain that this would have a boot load of angles to cover up, but it's just so simple! Loved it
Most basic use..produce a business card at the end of your routine =)
Or mix it with a torn and restore trick
Maaaan. You got me back into magic. I literally have been practicing nonstop the last 3 months, all stuff off of your videos. Especially the card springs. Thanks man!
Legend has it that if you come early not only Chris Ramsay answers you but he also gives u a signed deck
+Dhruuv singh not early enough 😂
Lol! I'll try to be earlier next time
Dhruuv singh...solid effort man lol
Is this true?
U have to comment before the video is released
Great trick Chris! I was completely fooled from it in the intro. Keep the great tutorials coming!
Wow last time I was this early pocket was still on the market.
Too soon?
Thekingshyguy to soon
Thekingshyguy To soon man, to soon
Thekingshyguy never to soon
Thekingshyguy i dont give a single fuck
I don't even know what you're saying, so nah, not for me.
You are the best magician! Especially on RUclips, you're the best to watch and the best to learn from. Thank you legitimately from my heart you are amazing and I love you!
I hear that Chris Ramsay haunts his videos for up to an hour after release! Somebody tell me if it is true!

Chris Ramsay hahaha you savage.
Chaney Kelly thats why i watch them
Lies... he doesn't comment(reply, message, whatever word/phrase you want to use to describing it) on his videos... because he thinks he is better than us all... if you have a problem dont watch, i love what chris does and clearly everyone else too
Your techniques are always so simple, it blows me away.
i need a table to put this invisible ring

i will just use my knee
oh, its visible now
Anantak Saini WELL THAT IS AAAAAA GOOD JUSTIFICATION TY
I've shortly fallen in love with your channel. The edits, how you shoot it, explain it, and Ofc your humor. You seem like a chill person which makes me like your channel more. Thank you Chris 😄😄
wow you are sooooo good.... better than KFC :)
I looked at bobo modern coin magic and I didn't find the secret or any small idea to understand the trick. The creativity behind this trick is just mind blowing
I would produce a bill at the cash desk of a store
I discovered your channel about 4 days ago, and I rushed your videos... I have seen roughly half of them ! Really interesting stuffs, the way you talk about magic and your personality above all ! small object......I'd produce EvanEra.
definitely a larger object

Chris Ramsay thank you for making magic accessible for those willing to learn and practice. It helps so much
I cannot believe a RUclips channel could make me love, and look forward to every single Monday!!
Very clever Chris. This reminds me of a similar trick (sitting down) that uses the knee as a servante in the old Stars of Magic book. I particularly like that your idea brings the concept
into the more practical world of Stand-Up as opposed to Sit-Down "lapping".
Thanks you for inspiring my to do magic again after 3 years of taking a break and now I am enjoying it again thank you.
Love the idea, I think I will use this trick with a card, a coin and a lighter, thanks for teaching this to us Chris
Chriss you are really great, i watch you always from argentina. Discovering your channel was one of the best things i done!
Wow! Thank u for sharing this with us Chris! Amazing trick!
Hey Chris, Ive been watching your content for a while now and I love your videos, see depression has really struck me in the past year and watching your videos really helped me, fidgeting with my cards also helped me (from your tutorials 😜)
This fooled the sh*t out of me! Thank you for all of your amazing tutorials!!!
Wow such am amazing trick! As a server in a resturant i kneel down a lot at my tables to make eye contact this would be a great inpromtu trick when joking around with my guests!! Love it. Cant wait for Weds winners announcement. Fingers crossed
I've actually been secretly waiting for this so I can have a starter for ring tricks
AS always, amazing performance and trick, many thanks mate! Much love from Romania!

Oh thanks man, this is great addition to my one and only trick of making a coin disappear and appear. It's super easy
Hey chris could u give a tutorial on any great stage magic trick . I really need one for my college annual party . Love u..
Totally forgot about this! Read it in a book once. Great thing to add to your magic Arsenal!
Hi Chris been doing magic and iv learnt how to do David blain sandwich trick and I learnt how to do the waterfall effect from you , anyway just like to say your great keep up the good work
I just got a ring the other day to learn some ring magic. Then Chris shows up with the perfect video for me. Thanks Chris.
This is a dope effect!! Gonna have to do some thinking on how to weave it into an act but it will make a for a really cool reveal!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing! LOVE the lighter production!
Great trick! You can do the lighter routine like you describe, but when they start realizing there is no lighter you say you covered it in invisibility paint and if they don't believe you you will rub off the paint and show them. Then just rub it on your leg to show them the lighter under the magical paint!
Can you do more ring magic tutorials I love ring magic and what ring tricks do you recommend to buy

The Ram Fam is a total Jam, man. Keep up the sweet vids!
This trick is best for proposing... You kneel down as you're supposed to, which is expected but then the ring box is empty. That's where the trick comes into play.

Thank you so much Chris!!! I can't wait to use this effect!!!!!!!!
USB Stick works a dream and stresses out bosses who think they lost all the work! Nice one Chris. Legend.
Legend says Chris Ramsey loves his fans that he replies to their comments within one hour of the video going up
Yes! I'll admit it. The intro BLEW MY MIND! Great stuff!! Really like the videos, keep em coming!
chris! you hurt my brain with this one. i was watching the performance and was...you killed my head
This always makes my Monday's better, Thanks Chris
Justification to go to the knee:
"Excuse me I just really kneed a (insert name of object) for my next trick."
Love the videos Chris! Always waiting for the day you visit NB!
Really cool production, I like it, so simple, so clever...
I like the way you are using your followers as a brainstorming consulting team
Hey chris I immediately thought of the old throw an apple to your elbow joint and flex and knock it back out and catch thing that grandpa's do .
If you use the crease of the jumper on your bicep it works great ( obviously not with an apple I'm not arnie ) . Great great effect as always bro !! Stay beastly . Peace
Love it, thanks for this one mate, am going to start practicing it now
Hi chris I have been I to cardistry for a month I have learned the basic tricks like the spring, waterfall, lepal spread, and I am practicing the faro shuffle and tricks that involve it I can do a pretty good giant fan and faro cascade do you have any suggestions to what I should learn next pls answer I would mean a lot
yo chris ramsey you are my insparation my goal one day is to meat you cause i live in toronto i am 11 years old and your are what got me started in magic love you so mush have seen almost all your videos thank you so much !!!
Dear Chris my name is Ryan and I'm thirteen and you have inspired me to do magic. Thank you so much for everything from Ryan
Awesome effect Chris! I literally face palmed when I saw the explanation.. What a kick in the pants!
I used a key on a small keychain for one of the locks at work. Worked like a charm
I loved this effect Chris, Thanks a lot
It's amazing!
Thank you, Chris Ramsay!
Hi Chris thank you for another great tutorial keep it up 👍👍👍👍
Wow.. i love how simple and fantastic this trick is :)
That's the Best Coin or Ring Production i've ever seen
