      Yes almost all of these points apply to everyone, it's very general. No one wants their family to be disrespected etc That part about controlling what clothes a woman wears or car she drives is wrong in my opinion.

      @@lindaevans3815 I would suggest you find a female, Arabic instructor. That's what I am doing.
      It will help manage your cultural expectations.
      Because you will not become friends with an Arabic man under most circumstances within devout Muslim countries. You can have male, Muslim Arabic friends and professional colleagues in Western countries (and sometimes in the tourist sections of Arabic countries) but these friendships simply could not easily be maintained within their home countries.
      Arabic men are raised not to have "friends" who are females. Also if you marry an Arabic man, it is likely that he will not consider you his "friend," as many Westerners consider their spouses friends. Friends and wives are two different things. Friends are males you go out with on Thursday nights. Wives are women-people who are the focus of your romantic desires who you are taught...just don't have really deep thoughts. They were born to receive your sex and run and make a sammie for them when they want it. (This is the main problem in my own relationship with my Egyptian. I have a bachelors degree in political science and a doctorate degree. But I cannot convince my man to talk to me about the news or anything important. Only to say that I love him and he loves me and yada yada yada romantic blah blah.)
      I believe that I am in a romantic relationship with an Egyptian (who lives and works in Saudi Arabia) for instance, specifically BECAUSE he is not allowed to even make friends with women in Saudi Arabia.
      Dating is felonious in Saudi Arabia!
      So in order for a man living in that country TO HAVE a romantic relationship prior to and/or outside of marriage, he MUST do so with a woman outside of the Peninsula.
      Hence, the modern days of the internet create these overseas love affairs.
      So, the cycle continues.
      Arabic men continue to tell outsiders that cloaking their women shows love and respects for them (while Arabic feminists protest it and say quite the contrary); but the cloaked women leave Arabic men (admittedly the most romantic men 💗 on the globe) no relief for their desire to court women in the most extravagant ways possible without getting in trouble with their governments; so they must find Western women if they do not believe in the archaic social mores of their own countries; and yet few men will admit that if they would juuuuuust uncloak their OWN women and allow more normal, modern contact between young people; or allow young people to date/meet/fall in love; these very handsome, romantic 💗young men wouldn't HAVE to look for romance outside of their own countries.
      Why the older women (like me, an African-American woman and retired litigator?)
      Because women like me, at 56 years old, who have often had previous husbands, are given the option of obtaining younger, sexier men to date than would be available to us in America.
      Trade off: The men can be romantic with us and can't be with local women (sometimes, depending upon the country but DEFINITELY in Saudi Arabia.)
      The Western women get the opportunity to date younger men which is a minority cultural dating phenomena in the West.
      Even though I just got into this relationship, it didn't take too much to figure this all out. My partner did not tell this to me. I figured it out on my own.
      This is why by the way, in my humble opinion, there are so many vitriolic Egyptian women online cursing Western women for picking the men up! They can't date their own men themselves, because of male-imposed dominance in their own society, but the men can date outside of their culture quite easily.
      Essentially, the angry Arab women think of us Westerners willing to have romantic relationships with their men as SCABS, strike-breakers.
      They are right. If we wouldn't date their men, their men would have to fix their own society so that they could date their own women!
      All of these social dominoes leads to a testosterone drain from within the Peninsula to women willing to receive.

    I don't think I can ever marry an Egyptian guy.... women don t seem to have a say or treated equal in the rship..

    • @SpeakLikeAnEgyptian
      @SpeakLikeAnEgyptian  Год назад +3

      Some time total equity is not good.
      Example, it would be equal for both man and woman to work to share life expenses, but in Egypt the man SHOULD work, but the woman is optional, its based on what she likes either work or stay home,,, at least, that is what I do with my wife 🙂

    • @specificfemale3863
      @specificfemale3863 Год назад

      There's a difference between equality and justice. Like if women in sports had to lift the same weight for the same points that would be equality, but since women are naturally weaker (less testosterone), they need to lift less and that is justice. I still support both though

    • @gamerslifetv2348

      @@SpeakLikeAnEgyptiani agree most of them are toxic.. They made you like a bitch a toy but then marry a woman they dont even want others to see.. They praised a woman they marry but treat the woman who really loves them as dirt.. Do not show your body to any Egyptian men.. Ask them to introduce you to their parents first.. If they dont then dont [play with them they will only use u as a sex toy.. They will never marry you.. Then when they find out you married another Arab man they get so jealous and tell u they own u.. Stupid they will never choose u over their parents.. I got rich and my Egyptian man keeps asking me even if I blocked him already..
