What a blessing to have a geshe from the Lowlands! Thank you for your teachings Geshe-la! A blessing for our small countries, but most of all for all sentient beings
It's great to have this chance. Thank you so very much for your generosity and thank you Geshela for a teaching on such an interesting topic. May all your Dharma wishes come true right here and now.
Wonderful, Geshe la. Feeling so blessed to have had your humble guidance in our Preparing for Ordination course before taking vows with His Holiness the Dalai Lama. You yourself are a huge inspiration for practitioners (especially Westerners)! Chagtsal Lo!
Thank you, dear Geshe la. It was enriching to learn about your precious experiences and wisdom. I had the opportunity to learn from you a couple of times at Choe Khor Sum Ling. Hopefully after we're much safer and the Bengaluru centre can open, I can learn from you again.
A remarkable achievement indeed! Though I do have to point out that, contrary to the video's description, the first Westerner to graduate Geshe Lharampa at Gaden was Georges Dreyfus, now Professor of Religion at Williams, in 1985. 🤔☺️I highly recommend his book "The sound of two hands clapping" for a detailed description of monastic life and education in the Gelug tradition.😊
