A lot of you have been asking "how do I get the equip?" it's under the "special" missions tab.
You don't need to have him at 7* to get the equip, I have him at 5* and I got the equip at the special missions tab.
You get the equip for owning the unit, you unlock the 3rd slot by being at 7 stars I believe

Some of the most crucial effects being locked behind 7 stars is ridiculous. Consider how old ultras are obtained. NO multi z power (except for an expensive $ price on infrequent occasions), NO inclusion on any banner other than reruns of their original banner with a terrible 0.35% rate and NO pity or 5% rate tickets and awful side LFs (and also no 2x Z power or 20% SP rates). And guess what? Now they expect you to get two copies. NOT acceptable
EDIT: Changed the first sentence to be less misleading as the equip can be used below 7 stars, but some of the third slot effects are gated behind the unit being 7 stars or higher.

Agreed. They trying to have us summon again which I know I ain’t getting again. I’m not really looking forward to any other Ultra Unique Equipments anymore with that kind of requirement.
The Ultra equipment system is bad. Locking a damage boost part behind 7* is a bad move. We all struggle to get even 1 copy of an Ultra in 25-30k cc or even more. Getting two copies to unlock the 7* passive is just pushing one's luck. And I'm pretty sure the majority of us players don't even get lucky on Ultra banners.
Edit: To the people saying the Ultra plats are equivalent to a Zenkai. NO. They are not. For 1% or LF Zenkais we can slowly pump enough Z power to get access to their Zenkai which means we don't have to spend any cc. For the Ultras its relying too much on the gacha side of getting lucky and the other way is to pay money to get Ultra z power and those sales are rare too. So Platinum equipments for Ultra units should be revamped or we should get access to new events that give Ultra Z power.

If they’re so dead set on doing the whole “locking crazy stat boosts behind 7*s” they could allow players who have the character already to do missions to get the additional 1000 Z power needed, they did that for some of the Super Hero movie characters
Like it just feels TOO scummy by DBL standards to encourage players who’ve already pulled for the Ultra to spend MORE CC to gain the full effects of the new equip, the difference with zenkais is that they aren’t locked behind exclusive banners, you can obtain the 7*s passively by just pulling on different banners

This just destroyed what little hope we have left for the improvement on ultra banners. The equipment gave them reason to keep rerunning old ultra banners
i agree fully haha i was hoping for maybe old ultra super gogeta and maybe ultra broly could be on a banner together, but now they can just drop an equipment for an ultra and ppl will summon for an old ultra like it's brand new
7 stars is beyond ridiculous for an requeriment,they should at least give you Z power during the celebration enough to get his equip for those who ALREADY got the character,just like the zenkai awakenings through the missions and the ladder event...

This character holds for special place for me in legends because it was the first time i pulled an ultra twice in one multi, and my first 10 star ultra that managed to get thanks to you, Rai.

How to get his plat?
Not only was he my first ultra period, but he was also the first (and only) ultra for me to get twice in 1 pull! Although, mine is only at 8 stars. I am saving my cc for legends fest. Believe it or not, I used him up until the 6th anniversary and replaced him with FGB.

The 7 star requirement is horrendous man, at this point only ultra I'll ever be able to use with its plat equip is ug4, and who knows when that'll happen lol

He was my first ever ultra, and when I pulled him, I didn't even know how "rare" he was, lol. But a 7* requirement? I've never, *never* pulled two copies of *any* ultra, and it's just so stupid.
They will definitely have to release some f2p ultra Z power or at the very least paid ultra Z power that doesn’t cost ≈70$.
I think i may have been, and probably still am, the only one that was never reallt worried about him when he was released because of whom came out just before him.
Red android 21 could seal his strike even longer than he could and would heal constantly and reduce health restoration whenever she was faced with an opponent.
She was the reverse of what happened to green android 21's zenkai awakening, when gogeta came out.
Now we've got the red and yellow Android 18 units to back her up.
Honestly, I'm sure he'll be a pain for most others, but if you've already got a maxed out android 21 and 18, i think you'll more than likely be fine.
Bringing 2 units to counter one ultra when you'll most likely face the other meta characters is wild.
@Marc19573 I didn't really say you need all three, especially just for him, but to be honest, the red and yellow 18's have some amazing support, disrupt and tanking.
@@kaiokenforever4.013 Not really when UG4 One shot ult, Ult hans blue card spam and vanish remove on main, Ultra SSJ2 Gohan. Lf Fusions, (Especially Blue Ssj Vegito's Guranteed RR) UUI. And the zenkai for broly and zamasu benifitting on killing one enemy character (Broly gets a 50% dmg boost and Zamasu destroys decks) all of them can be run with USSBKK and the only viable team i can see yel Android 18 on is buu saga with fusing vegito and ult han. Just doubt the other 2 can keep up with the meta at the moment.
@Marc19573 speaking from experience, I can personally say, yes, they absolutely can keep up.
I've been in manny battles using that setup and have been winning those battles.
It can be an uphill battle, make no mistake, but my goal is to have fun using my favorite team, which is girls, and android 21 and 18, as well as bulma and chi-chi are the best ones right now.
I bet that when MUI's UL is released he will cancel Indestructible just to end GT's meta
Instead of star gating the buffs, they should lock it behind max soul boost or max arts boost
In order to for F2p players to actual go summon for these Ultra's is they should lower the CC cost of the Summons if its an Ultra that recently got their "Plat"
Whenever they do more summonable ultra plats, I feel like we'll finally get to see ultra banners with multiple ultras (presumably old plat-buffed characters).
Try pairing kaioken goku with evoken. Evoken would leverage off of the green cards supplied by kaioken goku, which would make the combos nonstop

I used to use him a lot because he was one of the few ultras I managed to pull, it's not worth it to pull imo even tho he has a menacing good platinum many of the modern characters have hard hitting ults/blues that basically ignore his disrupt
You just get him for the fun bro he will last for some time but he will go back in the shadows eventually
DON'T summon. chances are your CC will be wasted anyway because of his low rates, and his banner is terrible value. NO pity and side LFs are trash. Not to mention you need TWO copies for him to be usable with his plat

I kind of expected the plats to be for f2p ultras mainly and once summonable ultras get them then the unlock requirement for third slot goes away. This isn’t a good system
I wouldn't have cared as much if they locked his cover null or type neutral behind the last slot, but locking the extra damage defeats the entire point of having it. What's the point of having it if he can't dish out any more damage than he was before? This star-gated bs is so ridiculous. It's already hard enough to pull an Ultra ONCE.

Here comes my first review about the platinum of the goku kaioken: The goku kaioken, not that he didn't deserve it but it's that it's so bad that he doesn't even save it platinum doesn't say it because platinum doesn't help him but he doesn't have equipment maybe you can take him in any salad but he doesn't have god ki equipment what is where he should shine the most apart from being obliged to have it at 7 stars is A barbarity not all of us are lucky enough to get it out and even if it were so shameless, you should be so shameless to
As a community we need to let Toshi and the devs know that a 7 star requirement on these summonable ultras equips is a terrible idea nobodys gonna summon on these with the terrible rates anymore
