When i read A Grove by the Sea in Fragrantica i just knew i got to have it. Just like Peau (which was your recommendation) and Jcrew 57, Arquiste really has interesting releases. Might eventually try lor de louis, the architect's club or sydney rock pool next.
C'mon, Joel! It's time you spoke candidly and did a video on fragrance addiction, and not just flog to the unsuspecting masses the latest products they can buy at Osme! I remember when you first started your channel: even then it was about perfumes, but at least then you would talk about fragrance as something that permeates life and the beauty of it. Moreover, you used to take us viewers on various mini tours around Miami, such as under a bridge somewhere in Brickell, at a university, or a park, whereas now all you do is try to sell, sell, sell! Turns out, cheapies come in more ways than one! Please, go back to being the old Joel the Nose! There was more authenticity, more spontaneity, and even generally speaking more likeability to you then. No offence.
@@A.S-j3r I appreciate your comment but I'm not trying to sell anything. I don't work for Osme and I don't get anything from them. I am curating and introducing you to fragrances that I come in contact with. Unfortunately when I do videos about Miami and other places nobody watches it. I still want to make stuff that people will enjoy and watch and not just 10 people.
Nobody is selling you anything. Even if he recommended, “You need to go buy fragrance xyz right now,” he still isn’t selling you anything. The viewer has te option to buy whatever they want. He isn’t forcing anyone to do anything. If you (or anyone else) has an addiction and is unable to watch a video about fragrances without running out to buy whatever the creator recommends, then you (or they) should probably take a look at yourself and not blame the creator. And you should also probably not watch said content until you have that addiction under control
Also, I’ve personally been to Osme once while on vacation. Maurice is a super nice guy, and very knowledgeable. He spent probably an hour talking to me and allowing me to smell too many fragrances to count. Not once did he ever make me feel pressured to buy anything (which I didn’t). He genuinely loves perfume, and I think it’s awesome to have him featured on the channel from time to time.
I ordered an Arquiste discovery set that includes “Grove by the sea” and “Almond Suede”

Black Gold from Ormonde Jayne reminds me of pepper and olive oil. Thanks for the new tips.
Thanks. Always interesting fragrances.
Nanban - Arquiste is the best niche male spicy oriental that I have ever experienced. Super masculine and Beast mode.
How does he spray 25 sprays? 😂he needs to demonstrate that
He already did in a previous video 😂
❤😊
You are in Miami. Your high temperature today was 90°. Why do you have “fall fragrances?” You don’t have a fall.
Maybe everyone that watches the channel is not in Miami?
@@richardbaptist5080 I know, but these are supposedly “Maurice’s” favorites.
@@iamlove5325it’s a category of fragrances, you can wear a heavy oud winter fragrance in the heat of dubai like they all do. It’s not a problem
@@zenttofrizzy8479 That isn’t my point. If you can wear it in the Miami heat, then why wait until Fall? There is no difference in the weather.
Im from chicago. i watch him. His viewers are from all over the world.
