I live in Detroit,Michigan. Tim Hortons is building a new Tim Hortons on Vernier Road and Beaconsfield Road in Harper Woods which is a suburb of Detroit. The new Tim Hortons is going to be a Drive Through and a Mobile Phone and Walk Up Window. There will be No Dining Room inside of Tim Hortons.
Hey, you finally made it to Cary! This location was a nightmare from day one, hard to get into, impossible to get out of! Plus the food and service were terrible from day one. From what I was told the Cary location was a one of a kind prototype. That's ok, I'm forgettable. Take care.
Also, I can agree with the food being decent while the service being terrible In fact, just a couple days ago, I went to the Des Plaines location off of Lee St just south of downtown and they gave me a Whopper instead of an original chicken sandwich due to the cashier mishearing and thinking I was ordering the former instead of the menu number of the latter, thankfully I managed to get my original chicken sandwich eventually but it does prove BK does have a service problem
Up here in Detroit, and there was a Burger King on Lasher and West 7 Mile Road in Northwest Detroit. This Burger King has been Closed Permanently and Abandoned since 2016. This Burger King looked like a Rally's/Checkers in the past before Burger King took over. When you mentioned about Burger King employees who are being rude to customers there where you are located. Don't feel bad about Burger King rude employees. The employees at Detroit Area Burger King's are also rude and service is terrible. This is the reason why I don't eat it Burger King.
There a abandoned steak n shake in mt.prospect at the randhrust village sign still up and everything there was a sign on the door temporarily closed but that sign been there for quite awhile, there paper on the windows.
I live in Cary a few blocks away. This BK was awful from the start. Service was terrible, and getting in and out of the place was insane. You had to wrap around the building to get in and out. I think the terrible traffic pattern could be forgiven if quality was better. I hit them about 10 times, I think I got my order correct once.
Lots of hit-n-misses with restaurants and/or fast food, drive-up or dine-in over the last 25+ years. Crappy employees, messed up orders, hood rats & Becky's talking loudly or "Hang 'in" in the parking lots. Who needs it, plus, most all employees are pissed that Rapp career they thought they would have never took off. Plus, they hate YOU because they're "Service" workers, screw it, those places are poison anyway, let the ignorant eat there.
I kind of find it a little unusual that they're just going to put a drive-thru only Portillo's in Rosemont where there is a lot of tourist traffic. I would think they would have a full-blown dining room and everything
That might be a good idea. There are some franchises that are growing such as scooters coffee. Or maybe just drive up only Starbucks. It would be perfect
I know of two abandoned Burger Kings. One was more modern, and the other one is like a 90s or 00s. The Modern Burger King was in South Holland Illinois, I forgot when it closed, like a few years ago, but I remember it was built in 2016. The older Burger King is in Lansing Il. In fact, it just closed last summer in 2023. I went over there for some lunch and the next thing I know, the drive way was tapped off. I am not sure why it closed, though I assume it wasn't performing well since there were barely any cars that pull up there, not to mention the reviews on Google are not really good in terms of customer service.
Today is Monday March 27th and I was watching the 5:00pm local news 📰. Burger King 👑 has announced that Burger King 👑 will close 26 restaurants permanently. Over 400 employees will lose their jobs. They don't know which Burger King 👑 Restaurants will close in the Detroit area. This is the latest version about Burger King 👑 since you did the last Abandoned Burger King 👑. I think Burger King 👑 is going to go under, and some of the Burger King 👑 Restaurants have already Closed Permanently and started packing and EYM of Michigan is the franchise owners of the closing Burger King 👑 Restaurants.
Very interesting must be a new thing for burger king rally's don't have dinner rooms i think that's food is horrible too many places have better burger
I pass by there all the time. That was me that I requested that you do a video on that abandoned drive-thru Burger King. Credits to me for the request.
A drive thru only Burger King that’s abandoned and Modern? THAT IS THE RAREST FIND I’VE EVER SEEN OF AN ABANDONED BURGER KING EVER!!
Definitely rare indeed
Im glad you didn't get hurt by ice

On CBS they used to have a show called Undercover boss. If the CEO of Burger King went Undercover to these places they would be shocked
Seriously?! This is now closed?!?! I remember when they put that in years ago and now it's out of business. Wow.
2:26 near epic fail moment 🤣

The 60's burger king in Naperville you speak of used to be a cock robin before they went out of business if memory serves correctly
I live in Cary a few blocks away.

Its weird how they made this one a drive thru only burger king when there was clearly enough space to make a full one
I'm Washington DC area they had McDonald's eat in only. Something about too busy to place a drive thru and too small of a lot.
2:54 I watch him!
Portillo’s is planning on opening a Drive Thru location in Rosemont
I kind of find it a little unusual that they're just going to put a drive-thru only Portillo's in Rosemont where there is a lot of tourist traffic. I would think they would have a full-blown dining room and everything
That would make a good coffee shop for the size
That might be a good idea. There are some franchises that are growing such as scooters coffee. Or maybe just drive up only Starbucks. It would be perfect

If drive though is big business then why this one didn't make it
Subways are not honoring their coupons!!,
Woodfield Playground aka Woodfield Mall has a Burger King
It's funny that they have a burger king amongst a bunch of other more top tier food court restaurants.
I pass by there all the time. That was me that I requested that you do a video on that abandoned drive-thru Burger King. Credits to me for the request.
Thank you for the tip. Yeah I always read comments but then I forget who suggested things but thank you for the tip.
