- This 100th episode is full of variety! Wow 100 episodes! Much thanks to my son Christian for all the hours of work that not only documents our work but is helping others learn and be entertained. This week has setting, painting, etching much more. ( loved all the different shirts Christian wears in one episode) :) Thanks to our loyal followers for checking in each week for the past 1 1/2 years.

In the spring of 1991, a childhood dream came out of Curt Christman's mind and became a reality. Did you put spacers like pennies or thin white plastic under black die before setting compound
Yes we use Plastic most the time but Pennies work too.

What epoxy are you using for mounting V.A. Markers? I've been using PC-11 and PC-7 two-part epoxy for 20 years and always have had excellent permanent results.
We use rockite it works well and we have never had a bronze come off.

What are your other options for the contrast in the lettering on black granite?
we just leave it raw.
@@-gravestonepros does it show up with nothing in it to give it contrast?
@@randymccully3243 yes it does. When it gets wet no so good but if you see any other black stones on my website or on video's it has nothing in the letters.
Why do you seldom show the finished product?
Hey Good question Lots of times the video comes out before the stone is done and set in the cemetery. Sometimes Dad forgets to get video of it after he is done setting. I will try and do better this summer.

If you are caught in a cemetery in Virginia after sundown you WILL BE arrested for trespassing. Also desecration of a grave in Virginia is a CLASS SIX FELONY.
Always sad to see damage done to peoples graves.

Yes sorry to not show it the photo when it got set was not very good as it was very late in the evening.
