Nah Sixes death seemed fitting because Spartan 3s were designed for suicidal missions and tasks with most mission success benefitting humanity greatly during 2531-2552.

Keyes still the best Naval Officer we've seen in Halo. EVER. Yeah his daughter was kind of hot, and Cutter was kind of a good leader, not to mention Del Rio was a complete fuck up. No one will ever replace Keyes.

My native language is Latinamerican Spanish, and I was excited to hear Keyes voice for the first time and watch his return... But watching it in English and hear the original voice actor returning was a real blast. The Halo franchise is amazing.

I know everyone wants Six to be confirmed to have lived and that includes myself, however watching all this a few years later, i now see that would truly ruin the emotional depth of Noble Team’s sacrifice during the Battle of Reach. Top 3 in the Halo campaigns by far. Behind Halo 3 and Halo 2.
That moment when you realize the only one in this cutscene who isn't KIA/MIA yet is Cortana (and technically Chief, though he's not physically in the cutscene)
@IlikeFoodnDrink he died fighting a hopeless battle for Reach, which was quickly taken over by the Covenant. just the fact that he stayed until the end makes him a hero, and a true Spartan, he intended to see the end of Reach, despite it being the Fall. the last true Spartan makes his stand, and his mark. his intentions were clear

It was detrimental to it's survival that it didn't fight. If it fought it would have given an attack of opportunity for another Covenant ship to destroy it. If not all that were in vicinity, which was probably hundreds.
the halcyon class pillar of autumn is a mere cruiser and not a frigate. back on harvest it took two frigates and a halcyon cruiser to take down a single coveneant battleship. with both frigates being destroyed and the halcyon cruiser badly damaged. also cortana wasnt integrated into the POA to fight the ship. with her assessment she could take down 3 or 4 covenant battle ships, if u remember in the second halo CE cutscene.
In CE the only reason Cortana is able to destroy those 4 ships is because the covenant were afraid to use plasma torpedoes, their most effective weapon, because if they missed, it would damage the “sacred ring.” They mostly were trying to board the ship, and the fire they did put on was just to harass it and try to immobilize it. Credit to Cortana, but had he covenant used plasma torpedos, Halo CE would have ended while chief was still napping.
The POA was refitted to be able to take on Covenant cruisers. It easily could have defended against that CCS. My best guess is the ships gunner crew weren’t at their posts at the time, considering the POA probably didn’t expect a cruiser to attempt to get so close to them before take off.

Its a scrap yard and they were being broken up when the attack happened. One of those ships was actually the UNSC Commonwealth. The Commonwealth was the ship the Spartans used when they first got their armor and fought the Covenant in 2525. It appears in Halo: The Fall of Reach, both the book and the animated series version which is available on Netflix. The Commonwealth was the ship you encounter when you emerge from the caves filled with the Drones to find UNSC troops fighting Covenant forces.
RIGHT before CE. The end of the game and the cutscene are the beginning of CE. If you look closely that's Halo there at the end of the scene and the game. Its a prequel game, not a sequel. The data that Cortana got from the excavation that was so important was what led the Pillar of Autumn to Halo in the first place.

Halo Reach in the Halo Universe comes before Halo 1. Reach is the reason UNSC enters the battle after the covenant glass the planet and leave no survivors.

Six's primary weapon is generally a DMR or Assault Rifle. Emile was the primary shotgunner of the team.

All those Marines are dead by the end of Halo CE's story. Kinda annoys me that these Marines weren't added into Halo Anniversary.
