You make it look so easy my friend. Experience, I guess. Been selling building material for 47 years. In development after development. Never seen contractors put water lines on top of the ground. First for me. Thanks for the ride from Shelby N.C.
Nice work, changed the looks of the property for sure.man and machine doing your thing.great video as always.just a on doing what you do best.be safe.waiting for next adventure.👍👍👍😎😎😎
12:13 In all States, placing a water line above ground in an "easement" is violation of building codes in this manner. Stub outs are buried in the ground protruding upward, about 2' or so attached to a post or foundation rebar clearly marked, not 6' of pipe laying on the ground. Fault here 100% the County/City building department inspectors who approved this development allowing water line to lay exposed on the surface. ALL utilities by law required to be properly marked. Mulching doesn't require a "ONE CALL - Dial 811", only when digging.
The result looked so good!!!! Those water line stub outs ( I have never heard of them being done like that either) should be good and frozen by now!!!!! Happy New Year!!!!!!
Liked the guy standing on the corner watching in the first part of the video. Interesting about the water line. Never knew that. You get into some interesting things.
12:21 - This is exactly why we have insurance. I hit an electrical box not long ago, and I took responsibility by reporting it to the electrical company. They still charged me for the damage! I pay taxes, yet they still made me pay. Next time, I won’t even bother reporting it. These companies are just looking for ways to take your money.
Large metal green box is ELECTRICAL. Small plastic green boxes are for cable TV, fiberoptics, telephone. Water stub out should be attached to a post or inside a box also. In developments such as this, usually water meters are installed, a requirement of the city. This situation was the fault of building inspectors allowing such a long stub out to lay on the ground. Water dept should be painting these stub outs bright pink or orange color
@ that’s awesome! I’m just trying to see how far I can push my asv before looking for replacement. Thank you buddy! Oh and also I’m in the process of purchasing a TMC head from your buddy. Great guy btw. I’ve always ran FAE. Looking to try something different.
I don't know about south Carolina Davin but in north Carolina a stub out has to have a meter box. That was really dum of the city there. I would be like sorry guys but this is on you. For not doing there job. But that's just like towns and government now, cut every corner they can.
I have often thought that a derelict curled up in a nest of bushes unconscious from an overdose of booze or drugs, would be of greater concern than an alkathene pipe sticking out of the ground...
That water line shouldn't be above ground, kinda like here in n.western pa we have old gas above ground running through the woods, and no one can give a solid answer i guess the old timers where just to.lazy to bury the lines
That's a busted water 💦 pipe now. Too bad there wasn't a sign about that area. Too bad you didn't see it. Oh well' so who's paying for that call out? You? Council? or occupier?
The best way I can help you with your channel with a comment is to tell you what I like and not, ok? Although it's quite enjoyable to watch your job progression from a fixed camera in time lapse. It is no fun at all watching in real time from the cab. It's too slow and frustrating to watch. I realize you must weigh the job time with conditions and ware and tare on the machine at all times, I understand that, but it's not how I would do it and its frustrating to watch, boring and slow from the cab. Maybe from the cab always in time-lapse would be OK for me? Bottom line, make your clearing spots for tripod time-lapse often. ♥

That's why the property owners should be giving you a copy of the land survey because it would have shown you..
I love the finishing job of that head better. Looks good man!
Wow, great cleanup!! Stubouts, really? Never heard of that method for water, ugh!
👏👏👏💯💯👏👏👏
I am constantly amazed at the power of that machine to condense so much debris to almost nothing.

Yeah I've never seen anything like that. Crazy.
@@idigit4967 Do you have any news from your excavator today January 1st
I hope the city didn’t charge him for shutting that water off/repair. Like you say, gross negligence on owner/city IMO
We had a nice water fountain to watch while you finished the property. Ty for taking us along

The main thing is you learn a lesson that will stick with you in the future jobs. God bless you.

There's some guy on the corner watching you tear down the bushes.
You talking about the guy in the lifted black jeep ?
He's the owner
@@bryanwelch2701 No he's standing on the corner
What is that green box???

Black poly pipe, blue stripe= water. Shoty installation.
Long time viewer , can you change the direction of the head spin? What would happen if you could? Just wanted to know
thank you
ray
Is that a “ side walk superintendent” in the back ground?
Great video
don't panic brother!! thank goodness it was not a gas line or electrical line, you sounded distressed.
Yeah I thought I was in trouble LOL!
We have had a few gas regulators hit makes for a fun day

The Camela cuts better. I don't see huge chunks.

Owner should have informed you of water line. Consider doing more investigation & maybe hand trimming, if needed.
Ooopsy ! 👍🏼

Someone didn't properly bury those lines. Not your fault. You probably did them a favor by finding it the hard way.
Stub-outs = we were too lazy to finish the job correctly.
who and why the voyeur?
He's the owner
Not your fault. That's definitely not up to code.
Even with the booboo, it's still a great job. That wasn't your fault. These utilities don't do the correct job, that's on them.
shit happens buddy
So in your Yogi Bear, Jellystone cosplay, you made an oversized costume, and went as a Big Boo-Boo? Ehh, Boo-Boo?
That's a busted water 💦 pipe now. Too bad there wasn't a sign about that area. Too bad you didn't see it. Oh well' so who's paying for that call out? You? Council? or occupier?
Why are they clearing this area? It looks like people love walking along it and now it won't be the same. Not blaming you, you are just doing a job.
In California... there would be a bum encampment in that brush.
YOU should purchase the property $300,000 or more and let others enjoy it as much as you would.
The way I saw it earlier, I thought it was under ground used for cables.
Weird, for sure.
WTF NED pull ya finger out........
