I so badly wish I got this kinda luck, I had a run where I got to the ridge that died only 5 doors short due to bad room RNG and an Angler, didn’t get a single chainsmoker the whole run but I got like 3 of Blitz, several Pinkies and Frogers, and both possible Pandamoniums.

You didn't go over the server rooms, would've been good to mention how you typically won't get seen if you get into position behind servers. Also, certain L shaped rooms (turn rooms) in the roomtypes have consistent safespots (Pandemonium doesn't count). For the river, maintenance tunnels, AND heavy containment turn rooms, all you have to do is get into the corner (determined by which wall extends furthest) and face the door you entered from, allowing you to survive the hitbox (I don't know if you actually have to face the entrance). I'm pretty sure I heard you can do something similar for (windowed) L shaped rooms in the oxygen gardens if you stand in a certain spot, and if a dead end in the gardens isn't close to the path between the entrance and exit there is a good chance it won't be in the hitbox, unless every path has an equal distance to the room's exit. Also, in the straight garden rooms where you cross the room in a hexagonal? path that breaks up the grass, if you hug the left/right walls you should be out of the hitbox. ALSO, I'm pretty sure trench tunnel turn rooms can be safe without vents using the corner strat, but ONLY IF THE ROOM IS A RIGHT TURN (this is because the doors are pushed to the right, which alters monster pathing). And for the sake of being thorough, SmilingFigure showed that you are safe if you cross the boards to the side of the room that isn't collapsed if you get that room in the river, because monsters will go through the debris. Another thing I discovered is that you can hide in the corner next to the exit door of the long heavy containment room with cargo to your right if you turn your back away from the cargo (For this corner, the exit door will be SIDEWAYS and to your right, with the numberplate of the door across from you. DO NOT HIDE IN THE CORNER WHERE THE NUMBERPLATE IS, hide in the nearby one that isn't at the very edge of the room but still has you lined up with the sideways door and numberplate). You can't hide without hitbox obscuring methods in flooded turn rooms because they have the same width as normal rooms. HOPE THIS HELPS MAKE ROOM TYPES LESS HECTIC I KNOW THIS WAS A LOT.
There should be an option to disable the ability to get into lockers in mobile asap. Already got 2 perfect runs ruined because of having that second button in the middle which made me go inside of them.

Ive been playing a lot of pressure before and after the ai changes, and im pretty sure you dont need to hug walls in the side rooms when it comes to node monsters. They don't actually chase like in doors, they just head down a straight line to the next room, and I've actually just stood in LOS before and it worked out fine because they're just too far away Ive also noticed that they go through walls in some rooms, like the vent room you brought up before. Im pretty sure they just clip through the wall into the door that you go through, I think they do that because you're not actually supposed to see them by the time you get out the vent so you get caught. Thats just what I've come up with, but i dont have a pc to check in free cam so i have no idea
To all of you that want to do the time glitch, its not worth it. In fact it makes it harder. I don't know if this was bad luck but when I tried it, it was as he said, only front anglers and blitz can spawn. He forgot to leave out the part where that is literally EVERY DOOR. I got like 10 doors through before I died and I saw blitz 5 TIMES and saw front angler like 4 TIMES. I can't believe I even got that far, again I don't know if this was due to terrible luck, or if its because of all the other node monsters being wiped from the game means that blitz and front angler are forced to spawn more often if not every time you open a door. Because that is exactly what happened to me. Next time please specify that they will come more frequently. Thank you.

They do technically attack if they see you, just if youre close enough to them. Pande will chase you after sees you, no matter how far you are, and anglers will instakill you in they see you ONLY if youre close to them. I could be wrong but this is what i believe

0:51 not even a minute in and already incorrect info... The raycasts target the head and nothing else... That's why you have to crouch and look down for most spots to work
Please note that the beginning of this video is wrong, monster raycasts only look for your head, not your torso or limbs. This is why looking down when hiding behind desks/crates to hide your head is so necessary to your survival; If the monsters were raycasting to your torso as the video states, your head could be sticking out above the desk and you'd be fine, but this is easily verified to not be the case in-game.

Blitz and Angler can be painful especially if you don’t have a nearest safe spot. RNG is independent while the entities are dependent

This is why looking down when hiding behind desks/crates to hide your head is so necessary to your survival; If the monsters were raycasting to your torso as the video states, your head could be sticking out above the desk and you'd be fine, but this is easily verified to not be the case in-game.
@@boxcarz no, those spots where u look down work because ur torso sticks out a bit when ur crouching and looking straight. head doesnt matter at all, u can test it
