Just one tiny throw away sentence about his philanthropy channel??? His team completes amazing projects charitable organisations promise to do for years, within months. Jimmy and the team deserved so much more respect and acknowledgement than this.

because most charitable organizations don't have to spend that amount on money in a short timespan to write off taxes. They also dont gain big bucks from making what is essentially wasteful videos like spending several 100Ks on fireworks or squidgame simulations. With that in mind, charitable organizations are pretty much the same as Mr Beast.

Not really. It goes both ways as the new kids need the approval and support (read: money, power, connections, and influence) of the old, established institutions. Nothing beats the old money. Those people are multibillionaires, while RUclipsrs are millionaires at best. This is why all the big RUclipsrs jump on every opportunity they get to partner up with the old folks, i.e. Amazon, different magazines, talk shows etc.
@@firelordplayz amazon is not a part of the old folks. also, jimmy is a massive exception from the "big youtubers". this isn't about money, it's about viewer base. he brings in a unique set of viewers that these old/established institutions rarely see interest from, so he's doing them as much of a favor as they're doing him, if not more. so yes, it is old media sucking up to new media.

People with careers and money, in other words. Amazon's shoppers are mostly born before the 1990s while Jimmy's viewers are mostly born in the 2000s and 2010s, so young folks who mostly have no careers and no money. So no, it is Jimmy sucking up to the old media and old money.
I read the article. Nicely done. It wasn't a hit piece, but it also wasn't a fluff piece. It told a full story for what Jimmy, and his mother, allowed.

This is AWESOME! I think honestly it is pretty respectable that he is truthful to keep his content "all or nothing." I remember a long time ago. He said he recorded a TON of videos and just didn't like them; so he removed ALL of them! Love this entertaining and quick little interview ❤

The kid is a genius. His video is way more powerful than the Super Bow on t.v. they get way more views.. his you tube channel has about 40 billion views if im not mistaken and if he were to sell his name brand all channels the chocolates and Mr beast burgers he's estimated worth 15 to 25 billion..

That and also Jimmy is probably hyper aware of how valuable his time is, Considering the businesses he is running, So when you have an interview with TIME and all you are doing is walking around an unfinished set. Thats not going to be a good feeling.
Ironically, using his method is what made me shut the video off around 20 seconds. Once I knew what was going to happen, it wasn't really what I wanted to watch hahaha. At least you got my comment boost though.
