Jason Bateman is rediculously funny! I love the chemistry between him and Michael Cera. It's incredible! I would love to meet both of them. Maybe even date both of them. Actually the ladder would be great....

Well, I'd give you that if Fox ever left them in a decent time slot for more than a few weeks at a time we'd see about consistently declining ratings. This was a critical gem - multiple Emmys and multiple Emmy nominations. Remember Seinfeld didn't pick up a large audience and was considered commercially unsuccessful until the 4th season... and Seinfeld didn't even win an Emmy until it's 4th season.
Fox gave them 3 seasons (albeit the 2nd & 3rd were short) when a show that got there ratings would be cancelled like midway through the 1st season, so Fox gave them WAY more of a chance than a major network normally would and look at the bright side... classic episodes like "S.O.B" wouldn't have been made without all that drama
